Very nice shave. The soap was very nice looking. As far as the razor. I have a 6c, and really like it. I find i tend you do the majority of my shave on the 4 plate. It works for me. I very rarely use the lower 2 1 or 2 plates. Much to mild for my beard. great smooth razor though. My own sotd is my 56 gillette super speed, with Fine's Italian Citrus soap and after shave. I love the post shave feel with Fine soaps. Enjoy your wknd. Im working all weekend here.

That's a beautiful "renovation" of the Rockwell 6C. I always enjoy your shaves with the younger brother of my 6S. But I really can't see how you remove much beard using the R2 plate on the first pass. Nevertheless, you managed a close shave using your "lawnmower" approach. Although I have to be honest to say that I only mow my lawn on one setting 😉 Have a crackin' rest of the weekend, John!

I just bought a 26 mm G5C knot with a cheap-ass handle from AP Shave Co. based in Ottawa, Canada. It's a winner. It has the look, feel, and performance of a Badger brush. At least that's my opinion. Cheers.
The Rockwell 6s was my first safety razor and it's still in rotation. I started with the two plate and now I rotate between the five and six plate. It really is a great starter razor. It can even be the only razor anyone would need. SOTD was the Aylsworth Kopparkant + with a Kai blade (3) and the soap was the Colette Classic Co Fresh Linen Sheets scent. Slurp of the day is Killian's Irish Red. Enjoy your weekend John!
