I was at this concert! Sadly I remember Jon's vocals were mostly shot due to the constant touring. By the time tour reached Australia in Sept 87, they were up at around 200 shows by then. That's probably why the audio from this was taken from a show 6 months earlier into the tour. I also remember him saying in an interview a couple of years later that he knew how to sing live but didn't know how to sing live for 200+ shows. The band amazingly carried him through though and Ritchie in particular was on fire!
This is the BonJovi i remember..
Man, when David and Richie kick in with backing vocals, my head explodes:)
AND ALEC TOO!
@@MarceloSilva-bs7nu Right!!
It's unbelievable it's the same band since 1995.
Richie killing on those very hard rock riffs.... damn great time... back then Bon Jovi didn't need no second and third guitar player
Maybe they did always have a 2nd guitar player, he was just out of site behind the back line.
@@robertblay9179 they added the 2nd (bobby bandiera) in 2008 or 2007
Back then, jon offen Player the 2nd guitar
@@philippriederle4795 do u see him playing on this video? the point is Richie is much more versatile and complete than those guys playing with the band nowadays
back then and now neither, Only Richie sounds better than anyone guitar playing in Bon Jovi
I love the appearance of all Richie's Kramer Guitars. His late 80s Kramer Era of Bon Jovi are one of a kind that are legendary and badass looking.
All of his former Kramer Guitars are almost forgotten except the Kramer Jersey Star but the black Jersey Star is forgotten almost unfortunately, but Kramer should reissue the black version of the Jersey Star to complete the Jersey Star reissue.
I was supposed to be at this concert but ended up in the hospital!! Thanks for this!💖💖💖💖
Do they know at that time they will be a legend for ever
Richie on fire🔥
His performance is outstanding!
Damn... Jon had one killer voice back then!

I love Bon Jovi!
YES!!!!!!!!
❤️
Mi canción favorita de bon jovi
Rock de verdad, toda la esencia Bon Jovi, pese que la voz de Jon sonaba bastante deteriorada... de los temas grandes de la banda y creo uno de los más infravalorados del Rock en general.
TEMAZO CHILE PRESENTE BON JOVI🤘😎🇨🇱

Jon was fortunate he had richi when he needed vocal help most bands didn't have 2 amazing singers in one band
Bonjovi .
Super-Ultra-Raritet !
Is there some kind of "edit" here?
What happened with the 3rd chorus, right after the guitar solo???
for sure its compiled, RSB changes guitars randomly at parts.
Holy fùck
Why did Jon sound so bad in 87?
Non stop touring. Watch the documentary they hardly got time for a break.
He blew his voice after intense tourin during the SWW era
@@madden7732 ye but he still sounded great in the 90s
@@MrJohnp93 yeah thats true. Have you seen his KTF performance in Stockholm in 93? Or Blaze of Glory at the OSCARS in 91? Jon was at his very best on that period of time imo.
@@madden7732 I did, I think he was at his best till the tour for these days he started getting worse in the 2000s
