In January 2024, if we were told that Bama had a chance to end the season 10-3, we would have been ecstatic. The departures in January were devastating. The first few games of the season gave us a false sense of confidence, especially the first half of the UGA game. I think the season played out exactly how it should have. We lost games we shouldn't have lost. We won games we shouldn't have won. However, I think next year will be a really great season. All those teams that beat Bama and bragged about it and rubbed it in...they are on notice. Roll Tide, and Merry Christmas!

I agree as well, but I also think some of these guys can't get open. I remember when we had Bryce, he would only throw to j williams and Metchie pretty much.Holden and Brooks both transferred out because I'm sure they felt they weren't getting opportunities. When in reality, they both sucked!

Smith, Ryan Williams is the last great WR recruited from Highschool by Bama. Not to mention how Bryce Young was making "something out of nothing" and scrambling for his life when Jamo and Metchie left or got injured.👍

Does allowing more players playing time also allow these players to have greater transfer value?
Receivers “disappeared into the bushes?” Well when did any of the receivers get balls thrown to them. Ryan got most of the balls early. The Germie is the second half of the season. Milroe only looked at one route then ran. How many receivers go into the season hoping to get “50 plus blocks” in a season.
You can’t count on Jimmy saying anything about Milroe for sure and I’ll bet it’s the same for Luke. Gotta pay the bills so I get it. Money gotta come one way or another

D. Smith was the last great WR up until Ryan Williams that Bama has had. J. Williamson, Metchie, and Burton were all brought in by Coach Saban through transfers (excluding Metchie) were good but not elite (there's a reason Saban felt we needed help at WR and brought them in). Bryce Young did not have the weapons Mack Jones had and basically made a lot of plays by improvising. With that being said, Milroe isn't as bad or shouldn't be judged as harshly as some fans tend to do. Roll Tide 🌊

@@chromepunisher4445 Leadership is more than how great you play in a game. I am a black man and chemist in the energy sector for 20+ years. I'm not saying Milroe is perfect but there's a tone or expectation that needs to be set going towards the next season and by Milroe finishing his career shows younger players perseverance and supporting your fellow players. When I see the issues of today's younger people I blame us elders for not setting a better example and feeding into instant gratification and selfish behavior. Just my opinion.

I get that many of our receivers became disgruntled over Milroe’s propensity to target Ryan Williams exclusively, but why wouldn’t those receivers stay at Alabama for 2025 on the prospect of our starting an actual quarterback, one who reads defenses, goes through progressions, and distributes the ball to a broad range of receivers?
