- The original version of "Give" from the fabled "Into Everything" album released in 1992 under the Grundig moniker. I'm apparently the only one in the universe who has this. This version is just waaaaaaay too fucking awesome to sit on any longer! When this got re-recorded for the s/t debut an epic solo and a killer bridge portion got thrown out...oh yeah, and also an intro from a Louis Armstrong tune...i don't remember the name of it, but it used to be part of the muzak when i worked at quiznos years ago. I taped this off the radio (WPLA 93.3) in 1996 on the "Last Call With Tai Miller" show...it only went on at 2am on wednesdays and was comprised of only local music. I wish someone would man up and put up the other 6 songs...
Or the band would just REISSUE THIS!!!! I've only been looking for Into Everything for 15 years now...
Go check out my other videos for another song from INTO EVERYTHING...
This band was really ahead of their time. I think if they got big in the early 90's instead of the early 00's they'd be held in much higher regard than they currently are.
I love some Grundig. I wish they'd stuck to this sludgy garage-rock style, because I'd love to hear more like this.
Jeremy Marshall heard of this and said..."Shit, I wish i had this!" I actually asked Scooter after a concert in 2001 about this INTO EVERYTHING tape and he said it was given away to various radio stations in the early 90s and that even he didn't have a copy of it. So here you go. I've got 2 of the 8 songs.
abortionrock i wonder if any of the radio stations might still have it or anyone has it
I heard this on Native Noise, a segment that 101.1 wjrr (Orlando) use to play in the 90's!
Man this was a great stroll through memory alley
I love this version. Sounds a little like jawbox or helmet.
Correction. Shaun Morgan sounds like Scooter. Cold has been around for years longer than Seether, I like Seether too tho.
yeah cold's been around since 86
I cant stop listening to this...its so awesome! I never even knew this existed and i've seen all of Cold's rare b-sides and Grungdig songs..or so I thought! They are my favorite band ever, its soo cool to hear this original, epic version :D thanks for the upload!
"I don't love you, you don't love me.
Well I can imagine.
Like a little thief without a key.
Well I can imagine.
Like a hurricane that's lost its speed.
Well I can imagine.
Like a liquored mind, I've gone insane.
Well I can imagine." Love that chorus.
This is what music should sound like..
Get chills when i hear it,
Wish theyd stayed like this until i had gotten old enough to buy the records..
This is awesome! I really hope this band goes back to their old roots in the future
I dig it
This is a better version of Give.
Loving what a fresh slamming tune
love this shit. GRUNDIG FOREVER!!
Wow i never imagined i could be listening to this version. Thanks a lot, man! I've got to say that it sounds very very good. The lead guitar arrangements adds sound textures that the Cold debut version doesn't have.
Dude from seether sounds nothing like scooter in my opinion. Cold is so unique and special. Seether just another radio rock band. Its sad someone would even compare Cold to seether in anyway shape or form.
Awesome
this rules, Cold Forever!
I used to hang out with scooter and Sam when they were grundig
I got 40 minutes alone with Scooter then the whole band after the show. Most Read band I have ever meet.
They truly saved my life. The say God works in mysterious ways... All i know is one Oct. 98 night at Tremont Music Hall, He used 4 guys from Jax U.S.A. to do it #CoLdarmywashere
Dude so crucial
Wow, this is the 1st time I've heard this! :-{O
Hard to believe this is from '92
Very hard, makes me wonder if someone didn't get their facts wrong.
Like, you're telling me this was playing while kurt cobain was walking the earth?!
Wow.
dope asf
I love intro tho
The solo...WHY DIDN'T THEY KEEP THE SOLO????
L-Z Jo-Z "keep"
They added it in later
No songs from Into Everything made it onto the first Cold album
Info courtesy of Sam himself
Is this from the Grundig tape?
ZEPITAENTERTAINMENT naw it's from Led Zeppelin
How did you get this? So curious
He explains in the description.
allupinthereboy tit
1992 my birth year deyym...
nobody mentions the Come as You riff?
Cool as fuck!!!! Thanks a lot for sharing!!!
Sounds quite a bit more upbeat. Cold’s self-titled in comparison is reverb-y, depressing and, well, cold.
The bridge is so much better
ZomBradical Cold = Neo Hard Rock
I love the self title CD. But this version is way better. Slowed down.
...both :(
This shit is drug for me..som1 tell me why this sounds fuking famiar
As much as I love cold, there's a reason they rerecorded this song. The mix on the vocal tracks are off, and the tempos dull. Sorry, but the Debut cold album version FTW.
Tru nu-metal has no solos! ...just some super dope rhymes bra!
They were considered grunge during grundig
Cold isn't nu metal! They are alternative rock and post grunge!
@@sklein4300 idk first and second album sound pretty nu metal, obviously thats a broad genre, and wasnt their only genre but still.
@@tomgreenfan maybe 13 ways, but idk about self titled, imo that's in a league of its own
Nu metal did not exist in 1992.
