I am so very impressed at the memories you are garnering in your young life. You will have a wealth of love to remember when you need those memories. Love and continued joy to you.
Your voice is so soothing and you always explain everything so well! My husband and I will be just a bit far from Yosemite this year but it's so nice to see how beautiful it is still around this time of year. Safe travels!! 💜😍
Nice quality on these videos,i have been doing these Airstreams since 2001.I buy one out west tow it home to Orlando, fl and sell it after i enjoy it,then do another.Been living in a 50's 22 footer.I had had about 50! Enjoy it!
Hi Sarah That was an amazing video I have to tell you I have tips for you too on how to conserve water you can put a Berkey water filter on your counter for water and try this we do this we just put bags in our toilet ( Be sure and double bag and put it in a bucket ) to transport to a dumpster and when possible try and use wet wipes
Water pumps are loud normally. You can change out the incoming and outgoing pex lines to flexible lines and isolate the pump from the wood floor with rubber spacers.
My hat is off to you for having the chutzpah to go out there on your own, especially in the crazy times. Glad you have Rue(sp?) with you which will most likely discourage weirdos. I have a daughter about your age (just guessing age) and I would worry way too much about her...she most likely would never do what you do. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I'm way jealous. Can't wait to be camping again!
I was here in the 80s with my Cherokeechief and Tent whe have only the campfire as komfort and hade as mutch fun like you, nice to see it hase not change a lot since then, have fun❤👍🐕🦺
Thank U for taking me with you. I am enjoying your videos. You are a very inspiring young woman. I am an older female retired RN…..and if I could re-do my life…it would be like yours. I did spend many years camping with my late husband - had a Jeep Grand Cherokee auto and towed a 24’ Sunline rv with a dog and a cat. Called myself a “campground junkie” because I loved it so much. All the best to you as I continue your journey with you …. virtually.
Hi, Sarah! I just wanted to tell you I just love your videos!! You’re great on camera and your adventures are fun to watch! Can’t wait to see where y’all go next 😊
Hi Sarah, Amazing what you have learned about life in an Airstream in such a short period of time. You are doing a great job of putting a lot of relevant content into your videos covering both camping life and location. Travel safe & enjoy your day! -Doug
Truly stunning scenery and so well filmed and presented. You are a natural at this in many respects. Your hard work and desire will take you far in UA-cam. Thank you for taking the time and effort to entertain us. As always, please take the best of care.
We enjoy your video and tips too. Nice to have young person with new ideas for camping. Older ones are running out of ideas on camping and tips. Thank you.
Thanks for the tips. Your are inspiring me to try dry camping in my Airstream. I don't have solar but I have a small, quiet, generator/inverter. Best wishes for your time in WA. There is a lot of varied terrain to see here: everything from the beautiful Olympic Peninsula to the scab lands and Palouse country in eastern WA. Take care and safe travels.
Bob, a generator that you must haul out, check the oil, refuel, run, let cool and put away. The true "easy" way is solar. No thinking or working, just full batteries.
Thanks for sharing your lovely Yosemite adventure. As you’ve always done, your production was light, enjoyable, and professional. Look forward to enjoying more of your journey’s chronicle.
Thank you for sharing such a great video of Yosemite! You scored the perfect camp site if you ask me and thank you for sharing the number of the site. I will look for this site in the future. That river and the temps in the 70's had to make for a perfect trip. I so miss CA for this reason--the camping is amazing~
I just recently found your channel and I'm catching up videos a little at a time... they're great!!! I'm a long time Dispersed/Dry camper (like the peace and quiet). You should be able to dry camp for 3 days without any worries about running out of power or water. Normally you will run out of fresh water before your grey/black tanks are full. Of course, the less water you carry is less weight you have to tow :>) The water pump should shut off automatically. Usually that's because of a little leak. Check things like the hose connection. Keep having fun!!!
I really enjoy Sarah's videos. Great ideas regarding where to go with a travel trailer which I'm about about to purchase, sights to see, and what to expect, both good and bad.
Great tips on dry camping. Having lived on east coast up until 2020, most times we camped among trees and thus didn’t opt to buy solar yet. You’re right about water limiting your stay if only limited to your fresh water tank. Consider buying fresh water jugs to extend your stay. Also, two tips for kitchen…..disposable gloves for messy food prep chores and kitchen scissors for cutting Veg, making salads….julienned cheese and protein for healthy salads. No knife and cutting board to wash up! Body wipes and disposable face wipes help your feel fresh between navy showers.
Clever product ideas/solutions. Thanks for sharing. I have been FT for 7 years and I still work FT. I do my best to not stay in rv parks and I recently switched from Class A to a trailer. I need that rechargeable fan, blender and electric blanket! Even though I have 300ah of lithium and 350w of solar, I keep finding more and more reasons to buy a portable device like the Jackery. Good luck in Washington State. Especially if it is Seattle. There are not many 'nice' RV parks... with vacancies. The nicest one I have found so far has been Lake Pleasant RV Park and take that trailer out to Winthrop to enjoy the hiking and trails.
You might be underestimating the power in your two Lithium batteries. Check the amp draw on those "doggy" monitors. You may well be able to use them via a small inverter when you leave your dog in the trailer and take a hike etc. I also suspect your current solar setup will supply more power than the monitors use on most days and I support your adding that third panel when able.
As I watched your video I ordered a Jackery, I have been on the fence and just did it...thanks or the review. I have a basecamp and love the dry camping but once in a while it would be nice to have an outlet....I have used my ones in the Jeep but only when I am moving. So far Solar is doing me a solid
Hi Sarah from down under. Your vids popped up in my feed and I am enjoying your recordings of a nomadic life. I am a budding grey nomad now being semi retired and about to upgrade my camper trailer to a caravan . Very excited about the travels we will be doing here in Oz. Am going to look into a portable power station useful in so many ways. Have been to Yosemite and am keen to revisit at some point. Cheers
Beautiful video as always! We also do the electric blanket thing and bucket in the shower. You might want to try Methods foaming hand soap, and a white vinegar/dawn spray is great for dishes. 👍
Hi from Australia 😁 I found your channel tonight and binge watched till your newest vlog. Gotta say great job. Your a "natural" so thanks & I'm looking forward to the next one. See ya later 😁 PS your husky is beautiful 🥰
That was an awesome video!!! Thank you for all your tips!! So helpful to me. I hope to head out in about a year. I’m trying for less, but we’ll see. It’s so good to have all of your videos to refer back to. I feel you’re the only single female who is giving out this info about the beginning of your journey, as you learn it. I know you don’t mean it to be a “how to” video, so it’s great that it’s interspersed with beautiful views & lovely pictures of Roo (sp?). Plus the climbers were amazing!! Thank you Sarah. Like how you’ve added to your logo again & had it put on the Airstream!!! Cheers! 🥰
I'm guessing this was before the severe flooding? So glad you got to experience it, I had to postpone my birthday trip that was happening next week, but can't wait to see such beautiful spaces!!!!
Just found your videos! Amazing! Yosemite is a beautiful NP to wander around and I'm so glad you are going up to Washington! I live up here in the PNW so if you need any recs for hikes or anythings hit me up! :) Safe travels north!
I have the same exact jackery and I love it too! Great vid, I’m now inspired to bring my pups to Yosemite one day… I always kinda ruled out national parks because of my dogs but I should do my research, some may be more dog tolerant than others. Happy travels! ✨💛✨
Love your videos! 😍 Thanks for all the great tips! Question about the shower shutoff valve - is the water still hot when you turn it back on or do you have to start over waiting for it to heat up?
How do you dry camp in an Airstream without electrical? Two batteries and a 1000 watt inverter won’t run anything overnight, and you can’t even run the microwave.
Hey Sarah, I love all your videos. I’m considering getting an Airstream relatively soon and your input has been very helpful. Just curious, how did you pick your tow vehicle? It looks like you have a Jeep Grand Cherokee but I didn’t think those were rated to pull the weight of a 22’ Caravel. Do you have any issues towing it at all?
It’s good to see that Yosemite allows dogs on paved paths. Years ago, my sister and I took my dogs to Bryce, Zion, etc., and dogs were not allowed. 🙁🙁 🐾🐾 🐾🐾
This lifestyle looks awfully lonely. Just like the character in Cast Away where he talks to a soccer ball where as you get to talk to a dog. An upgrade to a soccer ball.
I am so very impressed at the memories you are garnering in your young life. You will have a wealth of love to remember when you need those memories. Love and continued joy to you.

Another tip for non-zamp solar…make sure the adaptors have rounded corners (not the square kind) if u plan to use them for the front plug!
A solar shower is great for dry camping. Heat bag outside, bring inside to use for shower.

Nice Job Sarah. Can't wait to see your future adventures.

What a stunning video!! It's unreal how beautiful it is there! Thank you so much for sharing your travel experiences!
I'm in awe of your rv lifestyle. What an amazing adventure you're on. Many good wishes for your journey.

Great video! Loved seeing the scenery and all your tips and tricks for conserving energy.
Some great tips and useful gear suggestions I added to my wish list, thanks! and Rue is so cute! One up my pups is also named Rue

Great videos! As a new airstreamer, I’m learning a ton from you. Amazon should hire you! And you should write a book for airstream beginners.
There are a LOT of sources of Airstream info out there. Flying Cloud and other two axle Airstreams are different from one axle units!!!

Nice 👍
Great video. It’s a nice mix of travelogue and RV experience that makes it very interesting. Safe travels!
Love the video! You need your own amazon page!
Wow!
RV life is really cool, and I look forward to such a life. I want to buy a cheaper Bambi.
Awesome content and video / photography! Good luck in Washington!
Thank you so much for the Airstream tips! 😅
If you get a bigger Jackery you can use the microwave too! I use a Jackery 1000 to power my 700 watt microwave 😉

Yellowstone had the flooding.
@@lawrencewiddis2447 dude omg!!! I knew that!!! I gotta get out this Texas heat🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video, keep posting them. Also, what model fan did you use on this video. I’m really interested in buying one like that.

Great video! Yosemite seems to be always booked up, how did you get in?
Omg!
Love your videos! 😍 Thanks for all the great tips! Question about the shower shutoff valve - is the water still hot when you turn it back on or do you have to start over waiting for it to heat up?
Start over! It's a total pain in the butt and the biggest struggle of having a tankless water heater.
Where did you get the rechargeable fan? We live following you and Rue. Lovely smile!!
Thank you!! There’s a link to it in the description of the video. 😊

Did you tell everyone where you will work in Washington?
Nope! I won’t be doing that for safety reasons. 😊
