- Russia has predicted that Ukraine’s potential new counteroffensive would be a “complete disaster”, and will lead to Kyiv’s final defeat in the war. “There is no doubt that the implementation of Zelensky’s new plan for a counter-offensive will end in complete disaster for Ukraine, the final defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the beginning of the path to peace on Russian terms,” a Russian Defence Ministry official was quoted as saying by local media outlet RT.

Pity very much a country, where the people are not eager to fight, the government is forced to reduce the conscription age, and is fully dependent on the arms supplied by other countries, and cannot think and do what is best for itself , but is dependent on the mixed signal advice from the ' friendly' countries, which will praise and keep Mr.Zelensky on the highest branch ,with no hesitation of lopping it off at the considered opportune moment.

Ths law war accepted long before this current war started. The Ukrainian parliament has several times continued it's decision about the state of war. So Zelenskyi has not himelf done the decision, but the parliament.
When my country, Finland, was fighting in the WW2, we Finns postponed the parliament elections from 1942 to 1945. Also the presidential elections scheduled for 1943 were not held, but those electors, who were elected in 1935 presidential elections, made the selection. Glory to Ukraine ! Glory to the heroes !

What's crazy about Zelinsky ? 1. In February 2022 He let the US convince him that Ukraine could defeat the Russian army. 2. In March 2022 He let Boris Johnson convince him to keep the war going instead of keeping all territories remaining with Ukraine. 3. In 2023 he committed Ukrainian soldiers to a counter offensive in which they would be slaughtered by the tens of thousands. 4. After the failed counter offensive, the US convinced him that Ukraine could still defeat Russia. 5. In April 2024, with the Ukrainian people and Western governments beginning to turn their backs to him, Zelinsky commits to another upcoming counter offensive that will most certainly result in failure.
At least he doesn't murder opposition figures.
