- Talk about timing! I managed to capture the stream coming back to life once again! Here in Rural Central Massachusetts, It's early August and we are in the midst of an Extreme drought.
With Temperatures in the upper 90's and Dew Points in the mid to upper 70's, Afternoon Thunderstorms drop a Quick inch of rain.
The ground is so dry and hard that it doesn't take on any water. The rocky hilly terrain in this area makes the streams very flashy.
The little brook is called "Fish Brook" for good reason, loaded with little minnows and Brook Trout.

So satisfying after the drought we’ve been having, and a lot more rain is needed. Thanks for sharing!
It has been so dry! Unfortunately this stream only ran for about an hour after this was taken. it dried right up after :/
That was satisfying, especially seeing the reinforcing water filling up the fish pool. They had to be relieved! Does this stream ever stay flowing consistently or does it only flow for short periods of time whenever it rains?
Niceeee
how much rain was that? and also very satisfying to see.
It was about 0.7" in about 10 minutes
@@Boxfan2008 wow that is a lot in a short amount of time when I went to France there was 2,3" of rain in 10 minutes
