Thank you! You said you would and you delivered! LOVE your cover!!!❤ As for a tutorial, YES please! And yes I do plan on making one for my machines. Cannot wait! J
I’ve admired this cover. You really made a special heirloom! Right now I do most of my sewing from my kitchen table and have a rolling case for the machine. Would love to make this as a dust cover for the day I have a sewing room.
I LOVE colourful covers… but I also want to see my machines… so I made clear vinyl covers with colourful binding instead… best of both worlds. But I wanna make one of these machine pics just for wall art 🫶🫶🫶 TY for sharing!
Hi Kristen, I have pieced a sewing machine block with the idea of transforming it into a machine cover. That was last year, and nothing yet has happened. I would love for you to do a sew-a-long or tutorial based on your cover. It is both beautiful and very practical. The use of buttons is very clever, too. Many thanks for sharing your skills. ❤🎉 🇦🇺
Yes please do a class on the sewing machine cover. I also was admiring it ❤ and wonding how to the make the sewing machine block. I had made just a plain cover years ago.
What a timely video! I need a cover for my set in machine. Won’t need any pockets or accessories but an opening in the top too so I can leave the large thread cones on. Will look up your blog.
Love this, thank you for showing your cover. I got my Horizon 15000 in August, but it didn't come with any type of cover, so yes, I would love a class on making my own cover. I do plan on trying to make one for my basic Brother machine, for practice. I too have a jar and tin of buttons my mom cut off clothing over the years. (she was born in the 30s) I wasn't sure what to do with them until I saw what you had done. Thank you for the idea.
❤❤ Tutorial would be great. I bought that sewing machine piece pattern yrs ago and still need to do it. What a perfect idea for it. I have a Janome 2010. 😊😊
I saw that in the background and started to ask and I'm I glad someone did. I not good at adding comments, so this is rare. I'm just wanting a dust cover because like you, I have a Janome (MC9000) and I didn't want that big case sitting on top of my machine when not in use. I would like to see a class or tutorial. I'll keep looking watching and thank you.
I still use my 30+ year old Pfaff for classes. A lot easier to travel with than my newer machine. That cover would work great with my Pfaff! Much cooler than the hard plastic case!
I’ve been wanting to make a cover for my Janome but I’m stuck. I just can’t get started. I think I’m worried I’ll reck it or it won’t be perfect (even though I don’t really have a vision for what I want it to look like). Yours is so wonderful! I want to do mine justice too.
I have wondered about the cover on that sewing machine. My Bernina sewing machine came with a blue cloth dust cover. When I am not using the Bernina ,it is under that cover. I keep my Singer 301 sewing machine under a quilted dust cover that I made. Thank you for this video.
I love you sewing machine cover. How did you come up with the sewing machine design on your cover?Care to share it? Thank you. A tutorial would be great.
Here is the detailed info on where I got the front pattern and step by step how I made the cover: 🧵My Step By Step Blog Post - iseestarsquilting.com/diy-sewing-machine-cover/ 🪡 FPP Sewing Machine Pattern - quietplaydesigns.com/products/geometric-sewing-machine-paper-pieced-pattern?_pos=3&_sid=baf588d75&_ss=r
I would love to make this especially with Tula Pink fabrics but girl you're awesome...I'm not good at creating my own sewing items and I'm mostly a pattern follower but I would step out of the box to make this... Having classes on this I would so sign up for it... Do you also create patterns for fabrics that you just got to use, I have a panel and 10" squares for fabric called Peacock Garden by studio RK for Robert Kaufman, its fabric comes from Japan. The panel is 23.5x26.5 and the colors are just gorgeous with gold accents throughout the panel and again on the 10" squares... I've tried Pinterest and Instagram but I haven't found anything quite beautiful to use this panel and squares with... Could you point me to some patterns or even help design one for me as like I said I make quilts where there are patterns to follow..... Thank you for this wonderful idea and hopefully a pattern to which I could make... Thank you, Sherry Rosczyniala😊💕
Hi Sherry, I looked up your peacock garden fabrics and yes - that panel deserves something special doesn't it? Pieces like this are hard because sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves that we don't ever get to actually sew with it! It just sits on the shelf so pretty! - I don't make patterns for other people, but I like the idea of framing each piece of your fabric like a gallery wall maybe? It might give it a different feel to treat them like individual artwork pieces? Just a thought!
Yes a tutorial would be great. I love your cover.
I would love a class on the cover, it's so cute. And I love that it is personal/ unique.

Hi. The cover is so nice. You have the cutest little yellow/green ruler on it. Where did you get that from, please? Have a nice day.
It was a gift from The Gadget Girls Company when they were still in business. 🥰
