Mom played this for us when we were just kids, back in the late 80s. Been hooked on Boris since haha! And my moms name is Linda, and my Uncles name is John lol. This scared the shit out of me lol
Yeah, thanks! It was another Lights Out episode, "Darrell Hall's Thoughts", I have it on cassette actually from years ago. I think it was aired on 3-28-38. It was creepy, at least I thought so. Happy halloween!
Hello! I know I haven't kept in touch in a while, but it's almost halloween, and I did just happen to stumble upon that Light's out broadcast I mentioned last time, it's on youtube, I just happened to be listening to this again, and found the other one on here, it's called "The Dream" here online, if you want me to send it to you, let me know. Happy Halloween, again! lol/.
Funny how he murdered two people in his home with loud gunshots, but the only time the police came around was when an off duty cop came to talk about his cat yowling, lol!
I love these classic radio horror stories! You might be interested in this one, “The Gables” and two others listed under “Claude Chabot Presents” right here on YT. Just follow the link here and enjoy! ua-cam.com/video/Ot1sF7fkhMw/v-deo.html--Claud.
If you think this one was scary, you should have heard Boris Karloff do "Darrell Hall's Thoughts", I own a copy of it and it scares me so much, it is soooo creepy, it precedes this broadcast by two weeks and it is creepy!!! This one is good too, though. I loved Lights Out even though I am not a fan of horror. It was so well written and entertaining! Enjoy! Happy Halloween everybody!
If you find this story too frightening...and, too annoying, we urge you calmly... but, sincerely, please turn off your radio now! Or, better yet, switch to another station, for some better entertainment!
+Robert Lawlor The idea is a 'cat' that sounds spooky and irritating.. not cute and pleasant. If you heard cute meows and purring, it wouldn't be very effective.
+kenneth britton , You assume I expect cuteness and purring which I do not. What you didn't assume is that I'm entitled to my own opinion and have been given the opportunity by UA-cam to express it.
Ohhh, I'm so glad you have this one! I love it!
Many thanks!

David Sedaris does an impression of this in his audiobook version of “Theft by Finding.” Hilarious!
That’s why I’m here now!
Lights out....everybody. Mwahahaha! I love these shows! Thanks!
Thanks for posting this program.
I heard it first time yesterday on Vintage Broadcast (streaming radio), that was good audition :)

Scary story…that laughter at the end is enough to put you on edge for weeks…
Get these two to a marriage counselor ASAP!!
Even truer with the marriages today! Thanks for listening! Ha!
Think I do have that one just have not posted it. Thanks for the offer it's much appreciated!
This was so hilarious and amazing. Bravo!!!
If you notice. She may have been turned into a half-cat, half-woman...but she was still all-b**ch!
Good Point!

15:46 Milk was a bad choice!
Who’s the actress who plays Linda?
What US regional accent does she have?
Cause I absolutely love her voice!
Betty Winkler
@@OTRHALLOWEENHOLIDAZE Thank you! 👍
Is her accent a Berwick, Pennsylvanian accent?
@@GazB85 Hmm! Will have to listen to it again.
MEOW!!!!!!!..TERRIFIC STORY!

The actress acting as a cat is so annoying! She meows so loud and off key.
Ha! Guess they figured it wasn't a big part and anyone could do it!
OTR HALLOWEENHOLIDAZE Get her some catnip and a ball of yarn.

I think that’s the point. Supposed to be so annoying you wanted her dead.
