Thanks budd. I'll be taking mines very soon

Taking mine in 5 days.
Just got my A+ Cert today, thank you so much for making these videos they were incredibly helpful to me, I wouldn't have passed without them! Now on to the next Cert :)
Congrats!
Congrats! about the others PBQ question? it was commands?
I've just passed my core2 exam and 3 of your PBQs illustrated here came back words for words :) Thank you so much for your inputs! Your videos helped me a lot to understand many concepts!
I would never laugh at your drawings because these videos are so needed! Thank you for your time & effort!
Passed my 1102 today thank you, the practice question with explanation were really helpful!!
Officially A+ Certified thanks to your videos. I watched this Core 2 PBQ's last night before me exam this morning and I did the PBQ's with so much confidence. Thank you!!!
That's awesome! I'm glad it helped you out :)
This video was so clutch came right in time before taking the 1102. PBQ4 was exactly the same on the exam word for word. Really appreciate the time and effort you put in these videos bro.
Glad you managed :)
Just passed my core 2 exam a few hours ago. Your PBQ and practice exam videos have been a great help. Thank you sir!
Well done :)
Finished taking my Core 2 test about 40 minutes ago. I got PBQs similar to the ones you did in this video. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for these kinds of videos. Thanks to them, I passed Core 2 with a 727. Now to retake 1101!
You are the man of the hour!! I just pass my exam and a few of your practice questions were similar to the exam
Congrats on passing!
Really glad I could help you out :)
Squeezed out a pass! Getting some freebies from this video helped a lot thanks so much.
Taking mine in two days, good luck to everyone else
Update, I passed
Just finished my Core 2 test 30 minutes ago and passed. I can't stress enough how much these practice questions helped. 3 or 4 of my 6 PBQ's were almost exactly the same as shown in the video. If anyone has questions, ask away.
and godspeed to burningicetech with these up to date scenarios!
Congrats on the pass!
Really happy it to hear it went well for you :)
Congrats,
i am gonna take my exam next Friday, any tips?
@livebluelock TLDR; Flag questions for review at the end of the test, I had very few MacOS and Linux questions (maybe 3 total), take your time by using every minute provided and keep watching these PBQ & Multiple choice question videos. They're SUPER up-to-date and VERY helpful. I can't stress that enough!
- You can flag questions for review at the end of the test so if you get caught up, just flag it and move on
- There's an hour and a half to take the test, so if you review all of your flagged questions and still have time left, double check the questions you struggled on before submitting. Use all the time they give you.
- Watch more videos like this by BurningIceTech and other creators because the questions they provide, are very similar if not pretty much the exact same as the ones that are provided on the actual test. I can't stress that enough. You're almost guaranteed at least 1 or 2 PBQ's that are very very similar to the ones shown in this video or other videos. For example, the PBQ where you need to choose what gets plugged into the wall outlet, UPC, and surge protector was word for word on my test, same with the ticketing system.
- And last but not least, don't stress it. My test was 75 questions and 6 of them were PBQs. 5 of the PBQs I was able to breeze through because I've seen them before, and the last one was about quarantining computers on a network after downloading a suspicious file & fixing an audio issue. A lot of my multiple choice questions were along the lines of: "John is a Technician at (insert company name) and is doing (such and such), what's the most efficient way to do (such and such)." and they would provide 2 answers that are noticeably incorrect, and then 2 answers that are super similar. Those are the types of questions that I flagged and went back through at the end to really make sure I read through the question properly.
Keep filling your brain with any information you're still even slightly confused on in the next week, and I wish you the best of luck on your test! Keep us updated on the results.
Hey, which PBQs were similar to the real thing? Thanks
@@BuhBuhBennny PBQ 4 in the video was almost word for word on my test. I had one kind of similar to PBQ 1, and then I had two on my test very similar to PBQ 7.
You have a way of making one face the exam in confidence. Thank you
Let's goooo, been waiting for this all week
You are the absolute goat bro~ so many quality informational videos
Thanks for the compliment :)
You saved me on Core1 I just passed yesterday with 722 score now Im reviewing Core 2 and hoping to get pass next month. thanks
Most welcome and congrats on your pass :)
Regarding PBQ 4, you should not plug a UPS into a surge protector. It should plug directly into the wall outlet.
In "real life" yes but not for this exam. Your using real life experience.
Let me give you another example in the course. The CompTIA course states that a CAT5e network cable can go a maximum of 100m and that's what they will ask you in the exam and that's what the correct answer is in the exam. In real life however, you won't get 100m in one go without repeating. Best case scenario, you'll get about 80-90m, maybe 95m, but not 100m
So getting back to what you said, yes, in real life you don't plug a UPS into a surge protector because they often they keep running in battery mode then and it really messes up the UPS. I personally won't even plug a UPS into a surge protector (in some cases).
There are cases where they work just fine though. The battery issue does not always apply, it really does vary from UPS to UPS and from surge protector to surge protector :)
It's good that you argue with the questions though, it means you understand the topic which is good when you want to write the exam ;)
Well spotted
You are the goat man, I passed my exam today.
Congrats! :) Well done
This came out one day too late for me haha. I took my 1102 exam yesterday morning. However thanks to all your previous videos I passed!!
Hey was this video similar to your questions on the exam..?
Thanks for this video. I failed my first attempt of 1102 with 661 mainly because of my pbqs i watched this video did a resit, and I did much better on my pbqs and passed with 715 😀
Congrats on your pass :)
Just passed my 1102 exam today, and I credit my success on the PBQ portion to this video. Thank you!!
Who did you use to study for the multiple choice portion?
It helps me 🎉
Haven’t finished the video but already love it, thanks got my test on Friday
ah thanks for the compliment :)
Good luck! Today is Friday and I have it in a few hours!
@@vanessaveiga9257 Good luck to you too! I passed! update his PBQs were spot only ones I didn't get were 2,3,5,9 PBQs. The others are really spot on
Hello, I passed the exam today and thanks for your help. The rest of the pbq of this video is related to the exam and thank goodness i found this video. Thanks a bunch and bless you sir. 🎉🎉🎉
I'm very excited for this video, your previous video for Core2 was very helpful.
Also bro, your English is excellent, better than some natives i know 😅
I just failed my core 2 test. Wish i saw these videos first cuz man i had 2 PBQS that were WORD FOR WORD as the ones here… my scariest question was the quarantine one with the 7 different computers… i know i butchered it. Hoping to take it again in a week or two!
Great video! perfect revision material for my exam in a week!
Lol this came out just after I passed the 1102! I watched your MCQ video on the train beforehand, big help! Thank you!
Oh wow you watched it on a train?
Your most welcome :)
Congrats on passing youur 1102 by the way
@@BurningIceTech Thank you! Quite a stressful commute haha
Excellent! Thank you ❤
excellent work guy, you are much appreciated
:)
Goat 🐐… Passed with ease
This video is maaaassively helpful, thank you so much
Howzit man, nice to hear a fellow South African doing videos on CompTIA! Have you had success in the industry in SA through getting A+? Currently trying to move into that field and have already completed core 1 exams (passed by a decent bit!) Thanks so much for the PBQs and helpful practise exam! Dankie boss!
You might need to ask more than one South African to get a better idea with A+ in the country but I personally have been very successful with A+.
I have trained A+ as well as other courses in South Africa at multiple colleges and universities and usually when those students get the certification they find work a lot easier.
Work is never guaranteed though. A+ just makes it a bit easier since you'll stand out a little bit higher above some of the rest of the people who are also applying for the same position
@@BurningIceTech Thanks so much for responding, definently agree with your sentiment about jobs being not being guaranteed, and that A+ is more of a stepping stone than a final solution. Have a lekker day man!
Thank you so much!!!
appreciate this love the content
Did not expect to get taught by Peregrin Took today
in pbq2, when configuring the wifi settings on the tablet, are we not supposed to change the Frequency tab to 2.4 GHz ? rather than leaving it at None
I love when you say don't laugh :D,, make the atmosphere cute ( if that is a thing lol)
it involved a SOHO network that had multiple users with audio and performance issues. You had to quarantine with best anti-malware practices and involved messing with services for the whole SOHO.can you please explain this one
I have a test tomorrow and this shit just deflated my confidence.....thought i was ready smh
Im also writing today, good luck.
For pbq 2, 802.11 doesnt need to be changed? For pb3, it says it needs to be changed.
I ask myself the same thing
Is core 2 easer than core 1?
Hello Instructor,
I'm reaching out from Udemy, are you available for a brief Business Discussion?
I am confused in question no. 6, during the course that I took, the instructor told me to pick the first answer but you are saying to pick another one. I dont know which one is correct now. Can anyone put a comment in this regard please?
With Q6, the user is complaining about the email "Currently being down". Nowhere in the PBQ is there any mention that this is a "new" device. That small aspect already makes a difference in the answer.
The first answer would be for a new device. If this WERE a new device though (which it does not appear to be), then that first answer would still not be a very nice one since it's the job of the helpdesk to assist the user.
Let me give you an example, imagine you pay men a fee course you want to attend and then when you start, I just make you read the book the whole time and I don't do anything from my side as the trainer..... In that scenario you might as well have kept your money and just read the book at home. The trainer (me) in that scenario is now pointless.
Now in this scenario if the technician tells the user to go fix it themselves, then what's the point of having a help desk? See what I mean?
This "could" be a new device but since there is no mention of it in this PBQ, it's probably not a new device.
Something else to also note here is (and I did partially mention this above), this is a "HelpDesk" and the helpdesk's job is to help the user. If the users could all go do this stuff themselves, then there would be no need for the helpdesk, and it would make the helpdesk redundant.
Hope this helps clarify the answer I chose :)
Hello, I am confused. If you passed Core 1, will you see Core 1 topics at Core 2? Thank you
Thanks!
Most welcome and oh wow, thank you very much for the tip :)
