I love hearing Chris and Matt’s background vocals in the chorus! It’s much more prominent.

Anyone else noticed that Matt's breaths are less louder here?
I kinda liked the hyperventilation that was all over this album. Especially on Microcuts you can hear all the huge inhalations before all the screaming falsetto sections on the chorus.
I never thought of them. Now I can't get rid of the thought...

This was definitely one that I was curious about, since there are so many versions of New Born out there already. In general, as with the rest of the album, it just sounds *bigger* and lets us see the tracks that were mostly cut out of the original mix. Absolutely killed it with this project, it's a good way to while away the pandemic with.

I thought us Muse were more bright. I think a lot if our songs are optimistic, for example, time is running out, the time is only running out, doesn't mean it is out. You still have time, you know m8? Also, starlight or glorious, or unintended, or some stuff on the resistance, like guiding light or exogenesis part 3. Or madness, I realize I need to love, it's a sign that I realize, that I will change for the good, a sign of happiness like food. Anyways m8, the point is I always thought of us as 'bright' and 'blissful' (puns unintended). But I can see how u think of us m8s as gloomy cuz of our eating habits... not my fault overweight kate left me. And once I started eating, Double decker dominic and chubby wubby chris joined...

I just listened to the full album on Spotify, and I can only say THANK YOU MUSE, they sound like new songs and I love them. I am patiently waiting for a new album. You are the best.

The snare and cymbals have so much more presence. Love it.
You can also hear backing vocals from Chris now. A nice addition.
IMO the snare and toms are a bit too loud, they're distracting me a bit. I'll probably get used it after repeated listening though. 😜

I’m my opinion, the cymbals are just a LITTLE too loud and the bass isn’t as clear as the original. But this remix is still KILLER.

I've seen muse live 4 times and this remix sounds like there live version mix like on haarp or hulaboloo. It's Very loud and less fatigue to to ears. Great work.

Damn, the same turbulence of feelings when I listened at it in "Origin of symmetry" 5 years ago. I wasn't expecting less of this awesome work!! Not jealous at all of those who will listen this for the first time in their lives.

I coincidently listened to this album, driving in the sun just the other day. I had no idea this was coming. This is great.
I've played this over and over trying to focus on the improved sounds and then Matt's voice comes in shreds my soul. Goosebumps. Perfect. Masterpiece. I can't play it loud enough.
They opened with this back in 2007 in Athens and it was pure energy!

Really cool to see people's stories here about their first time putting this album on and hearing this song to open. I first got their album Absolution in 2004 and I was so impressed I wanted to find all their earlier music. I had heard of Origin of Symmetry but I couldn't find the album in stores in the U.S. because it wasn't that popular at the time. I went to Australia in 2005 and found a little music store (I think it was in Noosa Beach), and lo and behold I spotted the iconic artwork I was looking for on a CD case (remember when musicians actually had to make their artwork stand out on a shelf with hundreds of other CDs?). Had no idea what to expect, and I popped the cd in my Walkman and my head exploded after this first song. Then came the rest of the album. God what a trip that was.
