You still have time, you know m8? Also, starlight or glorious, or unintended, or some stuff on the resistance, like guiding light or exogenesis part 3. Or madness, I realize I need to love, it's a sign that I realize, that I will change for the good, a sign of happiness like food. Anyways m8, the point is I always thought of us as 'bright' and 'blissful' (puns unintended). This was definitely one that I was curious about, since there are so many versions of New Born out there already. In general, as with the rest of the album, it just sounds *bigger* and lets us see the tracks that were mostly cut out of the original mix. Absolutely killed it with this project, it's a good way to while away the pandemic with.

This is the best song ever of Muse i think. I like the new spatialisation of the instruments. I really love the presence of the drums and the cymbals but i think the guitar is too much compressed and the basseline eaten by the drums. There is much definition but less relief. The old one sounds more heavy, more full, more natural for me. I hear that trough good hearphones (akg k275) and i am a bit disappointed. The sounds seems to scream sometimes. Too much trebble for me. Clarity insteed of big sound... May be it's better on a stereo... However it sounds deeper than the original so i am desoriented and a bit divided.

I first got their album Absolution in 2004 and I was so impressed I wanted to find all their earlier music. I had heard of Origin of Symmetry but I couldn't find the album in stores in the U.S. because it wasn't that popular at the time. I went to Australia in 2005 and found a little music store (I think it was in Noosa Beach), and lo and behold I spotted the iconic artwork I was looking for on a CD case (remember when musicians actually had to make their artwork stand out on a shelf with hundreds of other CDs?). Had no idea what to expect, and I popped the cd in my Walkman and my head exploded after this first song. Then came the rest of the album. God what a trip that was.

I saw Muse at Glastonbury 2000 and they played a version of this. I waited and waited and waited until they put it out. It was so clear in my mind that I worked out the main riff on guitar just so I could hear it! I was beyond excited to get this album, and this song still makes my brain explode!
The base has always sounded completely impossible to me. It's bloody mental! I've never been able to learn it 😂 This version sounds so crisp. It really amps up the nostalgia 👌

I was 3 when this album came out .growing up my aunties used to play this music, 20 years later here I am listening to this album. I love it.
nothing crazy, but making it more lively and P H A T, was definetely the right move. damn this sounds nice.
