Worked and lived in Kardamena from 1999 to 2003. Loved the place to bits. It is my HOME more than anywhere else and will always hold a special place in my heart. More than an island as it helped me in a tough time in my life. An escape. I will be back one day.
I visited Kos last year in August. Rented a car and drove all over the island. It was absolutely beautiful. I loved every minute of it.
I've been to kos 4 times and it's by far my favourite place (I stayed at mitsis blue domes resort)
The people that work at the cafes and restaurants over there are very nice and helpful
The most beautiful island ever, I advise you to visit it
I live in Australia but Kos is where the heart is at
Same as that, love the med generally, love greek islands specifically, but can't go at the moment can we, or its to much hassle if you do

I downloaded this brilliant video a couple of years ago and never tire of watching it. Besides the nostalgia -- my wife and I stayed in Kos Town and the scenes there are places we grew to know very well -- it's possibly the best "Greek Island" video I know. Every scene is perfectly framed and cut, editing is first rate, the music is extraordinarily evocative, and it really captures the "feel" of the place. A work of art, really!

This is by far the best video for the beautiful island of Kos. I live on the island of Kos. 1:07:32 Archipelago Hotel ...here I am moved by an emotion,
because I worked for 16 summer seasons in this hotel and now unfortunately it no longer exists.
My family are from Kos but we live in Australia. I have cousins here that are drosos also
