- CARLA was severely beaten as a puppy, her rescue went around the world. TOBY lived in a dark dungeon covered in bird remains most of his life, TOBY lived in a dungeon covered in bird remains in the worst place I haver seen.
Leishmaniasis, Ehrlichia and infection. He presented old broken bones, set in place by themselves. His leg joints swollen to the size of golf balls, which rendered standing up, or walking, nearly impossible.
Now they are living together like sister and brother...

I was watching the video with my dogs and they FREAKED out and went complete guard mode (stiff, ears propper up, growling and barking at the window thinking it was from outside). :( Dogs recognize when one of their own is in trouble

Sn abuser is usually a man liquored up or on drugs maybe both. Hate abusers. That man should have been caught and spent 8 years at least in prison. Hate abusers. Poor pups. So happy they have happy beautiful homes. Toby eyes still show hurt. So sad.

Its great Toby is in a quiet place in France with an older owner and family. He needs the calm environment to feel safe and secure from the horrors he lived through.
I wonder if they have some sort of dog therapy that deals with mental trauma? I know Toby has such loving parents now, but I am just so worried about her. She is so beautiful and yet, so sad. It will take time for her and I pray she will find peace one day. Poor baby. God bless you Viktor!

Toby is still healing. I hope Carla helps with that. Sometimes another dog can help in ways a human can't. I would love to see updates. I don't think I've ever seen such a haunted look on a dog's face before. Whoever had him must have been abusing him horribly.

I have a rescue named Charlie in the US that looks like Carla except he is black with white fur in his muzzle. Great update❣️Precious Toby has a new friend in Carla. God bless you Victor. I help all I can, wished I could do more. The video’s are so nice to see when we are isolated at home. Nine dogs keep us company and are better than TV to keep us entertained. Two are rescues, the rest are extended doggy families, two and three generations. Blessings, all of them. Thank you for rescuing these fur babies.
