I remember this rescue! I am so happy to see this beautiful, gentle giant in his new home! When he put his paws on his new father, twice, and when he rolled onto his back for belly rubs, you just knew he was so happy to finally be home! This rescue in particular really made me cry! He has been waiting for so long! He appreciates his new life so much. Did this poor little (big) guy have his ears cut before? That's terrible. I am so happy for him, tears of joy. There is absolutely NO benefit, medical or otherwise, to doing this form of amputation to an animal. ☹ Thank you for all that you do! Btw, I noticed another video by a group called Pets in Spain, something like that, where they have a tiny puppy with a disability. It looks like the puppy can't bend it's back legs at all, they just lay them flat when sitting, and when walking, they don't flex at the knees. I commented on the video that they should try to connect with you in Valencia. Not sure if this is something you'd want to explore. Stay safe, and take care of yourself! I honestly dream of volunteering at your White and Pink Houses one day when I can return to Spain. ❤ And I think that it's pretty amazing that you take the time to respond to people!

Sadly it's not good in France for pets, abandonment is one of the highest in Europe something 100-200k animals in year compared to 16k reported by the RSPCA in the UK I'm glad this big fella managed to find one of the good ones
