So pumped I discovered your channel. I do ukulele education. Let's collab! I would love to see what you can do with some Ukulele samples. I'm pretty fire with fire strings, I think we could make something crazy.
Marlow you are the man.. your passion and calmness always bring me good vibes and helped me to improve my sound and to be a bit more confident about my beats. But now that i noticed you watching HUF s video part, now it is confirmed: YOU ARE A LEGEND. (this made me post my first comment on the tube ahahahah)
Yeah family that's the silent work bop. sounds dope. Question, those headphones, are they the ones that go town to 5hz Something like, if so how they sound? I've never seen that rhythm machine before. nice deep woofer kick, old school
@@mpchead cheers, its easy to forget the samplings in that box of tricks. My toraiz sp16 is quick & fun but has limits. One of my favourite things bout the rytm is layering up one shots. Do you sample direct into the elektron or data transfer?
On some fly shit my dude! Man, I got my vision locked on scooping one of those babies! Coming from the old school days of the Yamaha RS7000, I've always kind of wanted to find a more modern flip on that style of sequencer. I got push 2 and maschine mkIII as well, but I love rocking away from the computer whenever poss.
Great jam, im coming from a mpc 2k xl background back in the day and want to get in. So you think the Ar + digitakt im combination would be a nice Option for some hip Hop/downtempo/DNS stuff? Just not sure of what i need when it comes to the test of the Elektron products. I use ableton and would use that as my daw
Recently discovered your channel and since then just been watching every video every video. Insane footage and music. Great content, well done and keep it up!
How similar is this to the Digitakt? I'm looking for an alternative... need a switch up from rockin' the SP1200 and DT, but want the true analog filtering. Thanks!
This Beat is smooth bro 👊🏼 Been thinking of getting one of these for awhile. How is the workflow sequencer wise compared to the MPC Live/newer MPC’s ? They sound Dope from all the videos I seen that’s for sure. Peace 👊🏼
Great video and music. Can you please tell me is there a way you can change tune(pitch) of sample without changing the playback speed(tempo)?? I am currently thinking if i should get this gear or not so would appreciate it a lot if you let me know if it ccan time stretch samples:)
damn, you upload this just as i'm debating between spending my covid money on either one of these or a Korg Prologue 8... could it be a sign from the universe? lol
I was waiting someone to finally dig into this machine, from the getgo it seemed much more intuitive and fast in programming than mpc live. But overall in the long run including the paramenters, effects and all that is it worth it?
They're really different machines. Of course they both sample and there's overlap between them but they have very different strengths and workflows. If stereo sampling is important to you then Rytm is not for you. Then again if you want to get super creative with audio mangling and warping things beyond recognition, randomized triggers etc then Rytm is the one to go for. Not to mention the beautiful analog drum machine on Rytm that Live doesn't have at all. I have both and wouldnt want to pick one over the other as they get used for very different purposes.
That’s really cool. How do you like the built in analog drum sounds for boom bap? Would love to hear that (and samples only for melodic parts). Great channel!

Why so surprised ... you know Ricky is a humble normal guy 😎👍🏻
@@mpchead elektron gear is mad slept on in the hiphop world. but dope nonetheless - great video !
Ya'll should do a collab
I was going to say that's brilliant music for a skate video...
Big ups Mr Digs, analog machines help keep the culture alive and thriving.
You definitely make this thing shine. It sounds beautiful in your hands.
🙏🏼
beats, beer and skating that's all a man needs!!!
Love this bro and I haven't seen too many people really use this for Boombap. That was dope!🙏🏾✊🏾
Finally! Yes! The force is updated. Get to work work everyone......
Dude, that ending had me in tears. RIP Huff ❤️
Great seeing this machine used for something you wouldn't expect from it and also nice skateboarding footage! Reminds me of the good ol' days! 😊👍
This made me smile. Dope brotha!! Started skating back in the early 90s. Rip HUF! East coast STeeZ

Mad smooth, real respect for keeping the art alive and bumpin!
This beast Costs a fortune
dope
amazing. I really like how you used the performance knob
I just learned this week that the Rytm is also a sampler. I always thought of it as solely a drum machine but damn im happy a wrong, great work man!
So stoked you rocking the rytm. Really makes ya write differently. In a good way. Can’t wait to see all the vids ya make with it.

Great track. Love the glitch effects. 👍
Awesome. More Rytm stuff please!
I always watch 90´s skateboard videos once I´ve finished a beat. Instant vibe :) cool that you do the same bro bro! Nice content, keep it up
thanks bro, skate and beats all day.
Wow... Just beautiful man. 🌉 Midnight marauder in effect.
eastern exposure and the slaps! classic vibes all around
Always appreciating your vibes man. Keeping your beats on rotation in the playlist is a must. 💯
Wow
What a blast!
Respect man dope beat, only ever used the sampling on mine for loops you’ve inspired me to get clipping those one hits 🤜
Go for it! 👊🏼

DOPE BEAT AND RIP HUF
What a groove! Love it! You make it look effortless brother. I know nothing about this machine...eye opener for real
Recently discovered your channel and since then just been watching every video every video. Insane footage and music. Great content, well done and keep it up!
Can I buy this beat ?
New sampler looks great
That looks like a crap ton of fun to use!! Just subbed, channel looks dope
Very fun to use, very intuitive
yo please do more on this mamajama

another fire beat 🔥🔥🔥 the chops are 👌

Gorgeous beat!
Dope af!! I like these beats and these type of videos
E yo keepin' that dope style and flow of the old school runnin'. Word up!
Yeah this is 🔥🔥🔥
This is a really nice track. Cool to watch you make it
dude this community so dope
Man that is nice. I just got this Ryyyytttm mk ii and it’s the dogs. Keep up the good vibes
Can you do like a review on this i been looking into one for a while but no one ever really does hip hop beats with this machine
Yeah I am doing a video about my thoughts on it.
@@mpchead nice
Sounds like solid steel to me!
🔥
Excellent clip man, once again...
Nice one!
this is dope!
smooth af
That dreamy lush jazz flava again, dope n dusty.
NATH JONES!!
Nice one! Looks like a pretty cool device! and nice little homage to keith hufnagel RIP
Time for a akai force update video with new firmware. You can now chop your samples
more of this stuff maaaaaaaaaan
Great video✌
Maestro 🎩 🔊
Great video and the beat dope.
Fire
what a sick machine!!
Do you do any post on the audio. The bass/kicks sound so warm. Is this direct from MK2? Cheers, love the channel.
I always master after, in Logic pro with basic plugins. But yes the Rytm sounds warm
@@mpchead can we expect a mixing tipp video at some point? a lil insight on how you process your samples and stuff? i love the sound
Some smooth digs here
Great video and music. Can you please tell me is there a way you can change tune(pitch) of sample without changing the playback speed(tempo)?? I am currently thinking if i should get this gear or not so would appreciate it a lot if you let me know if it ccan time stretch samples:)
No there's no way to do that. The analog rytm still has no warp for the samples. If you pitch it the sample will change duration of the tempo.
damn, you upload this just as i'm debating between spending my covid money on either one of these or a Korg Prologue 8... could it be a sign from the universe? lol
This machine is fire, only it being mono makes me a bit sceptical about buying one.
Prologue 8 is fire though. I’m looking at one myself.
@@mpchead wait the rytm can’t bounce audio out in stereo??
dope bro
Very nice
Dopeness! Hey what video editing software do you use to make your videos? Is it a long process putting together a whole video?
It takes a bit of effort to put everything together, making the beat, filming and editing. I use final cut.
I was waiting someone to finally dig into this machine, from the getgo it seemed much more intuitive and fast in programming than mpc live.
But overall in the long run including the paramenters, effects and all that is it worth it?
Doing a video on this this week. I'll give my thoughts as a sampled based artist.
@@mpchead Perfect.Thanks for the response.
This almost made me want to swap out my Electribe Sampler 2 for the Elektron. Dope beat. That's a heavy bassline.
I don't know the Electribe, might borough one just for a video and see how the workflow is.
💯💯💯
👌
this is great man, I've vibed
Nice!!! I just subscribed
this is dope! Fun to see the rytm being used as a sampler!
Dope beats as always
How did you do the noise on the perf knob? Was it just vinyl noise playback as a sample on a pad?
🔥🔥🔥💯💯
Serendipity ! I just ordered a rytm mk2 last week after debating between it and mpc. Great beat. Thanks.
great machine
Both great
dope flip man, salute from nyc
Can you record and chop samples in the Rytm? Or do you have to load them from your computer?
So ... what do you think vs MPC Live .... I’m really really tempted to switch to Elektron ????
I am making a video on this this week. I'll give my thoughts about it.

I didn't get to the synthesis of the Analog Rytm. I only had it for a week, had to give it back to my friend.
That Elektron is beautiful! what do you think about this sampler?
Video soon on this
nice one!
