I'm 14 and got the sudden urge to learn mental abacus, I've had watched part1 till 10 and I can do it! Tysm for ur lessons :D I will use this technique evryday from now on huhu
We usually start with abacus. Finger abacus is optional tool to help little kids memorize common rules. Younger kids may start with finger abacus if they feel abacus is too hard to operate. Eventually we won't use both of them, we do all calculations mentally.

Hello I have a question.. I want to teach abacus to my 6 yo... Is it necessary to start with the abacus or can she start we finger abacus directly

You may google abacus association in Canada. I think they can help you find the teacher around your area. I only know the teachers in California.
