yes please. as a renter in a small flat on a limited income, storage is a premium. I'd love to see video on the over the door storage. also I'd love to see one regarding hardware and tools when the only space you can put them in is the bathroom. my bathroom is laundry and bathroom combined.

We use one of those shoe storage things for our kids craft area. It's just hung right on the wall in their little area and is perfect for organizing paint brushes, markers, crayons etc.... I love the shower corner rack idea and will definitely be finding a way to use it. Thanks for all the great ideas ☺

I wanted to use one of those 3 tier wire baskets you can hang in your kitchen for storing produce but my ceilings are too high so, I bought one of those corner shower caddy for the corner of my kitchen and store any produce that doesn't need refridgeration in it! BONUS space! It takes up no room at all and it's easy to access and my produce doesn't go bad as fast!

We live in a tiny 550 square foot home older home that we have begun to modernize as money is available so love watching these kinds of videos. I have that corner shelf you showed! In the bathroom for all manner of hair & body products etc, in the pantry for oils, spices, etc, in the bedroom for makeup, moisturizers, doodads. I need one for cleaners but my next one will go in the kitchen for an herb garden. I do wish I had doors for all the uses of "shoe" organizers. Soooo many!!

Melissa and Chad, I always enjoy your videos and use the ideas all the time. One thing I never hear anyone talk about is what hanging things on a door, not designed for the extra weight, can do to the hinges or the alignment of the door in the frame. If too much weight is put on (or in) the over-door storage or on hooks, etc., it can weaken the hinges or pull the door out of alignment with the frame. Just something to consider when planning and implementing these spiffy storage solutions.

O...M...GEWD! Shoe bag...for not shoes--- GENIUS! Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks for the idea! Now I can put the shoes I always reach for just under my bed peeking out so I can grab them, my lesser worn shoes at the bottom of my shoe bag, and the upper half for other things like my hair tools! I just freed up a lot of space in my room!

This video is so great. We moved to a house and downsized 1000 square feet and I have struggled to find ways to store stuff. Nothing specific except office stuff without a desk. I feel like my mind is stuck with just traditional storage solutions and in our little space. I really need to expand. I just recently started storing stuff under the bed ;-). Loved this video and would love more like it.

Im really short so for stacking cans...or anything i put on a shelf i use tiered spice racks (the ones that look like stairs. That way i can see whats behind everything.
Ive also added extra shelves to a bedroom closet that was unused. Cant put clothes in it...but no one was anyway. That helped SO much.
And I LOVE those bags! I have dozens of them. Great way to justify keeping crap i dont need.

I got rid of my plastic bed rollers with wheels, and changed to the IKEA Skubb "drawers". :) They slide easily over the floor and I can fit more than double the amount I could in the plastic ones. I looove them! I keep my sheets and duvet covers in them, so I can easily pull them out from under the bed when its time to change them.
(and they look way more neat and organized as well)

  • @jenniferlavacca9272

Plastic food storage containers, definitely. Especially in a deep cabinet. I wanted pull-out shelves, but couldn't get them within budget while our house was being built. Oh, and long boxes of foils and plastic wraps. They stick out of our pantry shelves. We tend to get whacked in the head by them. Drawer space is already taken up. Thanks for all your videos! You're awesome!

I bought a bunch of them from a popular brand so it will take a while before I need to go buy some more and then I would theoretically be able to buy the same shape.

TUPPERWARE!!! (Or Plastic Ware as some call it) but I have tried multiple ways of storing these (ironically enough) food storage containers. The problem isn't the containers themselves, most of them nest inside each other. The problem is the lids! I think for every sock that goes missing, an extra Tupperware lid sprouts up in the cupboard...or just runs off with the sock!

Storage solutions for a new baby's nursery! We have some things to store that are really big, like huge boxes of diapers and an infant bathtub that fits into the kitchen sink... and then there are tons of really TINY things, like baby socks, bibs, pacifiers, nursing supplies, etc. The big things need to be stored out of sight, and the little things tend to get lost because they're so small.

I used those under-the-bed storage containers for clothes at one point and it didn't work for me. I realized that if I didn't have space for it in my closet or chest of drawers, I was never going to wear it at all and should toss it or donate it. But I do think it's a good idea for switching out capsule wardrobes if you are that organized and have that many clothes.

We have very limited closet space. No coat closet, no linen closet, and no cleaning closet for things like mops, buckets, and brooms. We currently keep linens in a spare dresser and coats on a rack (which I hate -- always looks messy to me) and mops and such in the guest bathtub.

I have a storage challenge for you Melissa! Just had a baby last week and can't figure out storage for him *temporarily* being in our bedroom. We feel swamped with bags every time we go into our room now.

I'd love to see videos on storing/organizing crafting supplies. My interests specifically are knitting and paper crafts, and they seem to have taken over an extra room in my house! Hope this isn't too limited for a video, but I think lots of people have hobbies that they could use some help with.

    Hello!
I just found you like 3 videos ago! I am one of your newest followers and, I am sooo excited to be so! I have a ton of family in Canada (some I do not even know). My mother had handed me her job as a "freelance cleaning agent" for 18+ years to go to work in a chiropractic/wellness office (that changed her life) about 6 years ago. The job for me is not something that technically fits my "personality profile" but, I AM (untypically) good at it,...I have come to find out. I am honestly excited to find out what you have to share and, also to pass it along!
    So much Love,
    Sarah McAlpine

I use a clear shoe "bag" organizer thingie to organize my spices. Mine hangs on the wall out in the open part of the kitchen, but you could put this behind a door if you didn't want to see it so much. this has been my favorite way to organize my spices by far, everything is so easy to find!! :)

I'm a high school teacher, and I struggle with storing all my office supplies. I tried Plastic boxes but there is always about half of the space that is not easy to figure out. Maybe you can make a video about how to store office supplies like school supplies for students.

I'm having problems figuring out how to store my pots and pans. Pans, lids, pots, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and a toaster oven. I have one of those awkward corner cabinets that goes wayy back but i can't really reach back there and its so dark i need a flashlight to find anything!

I save the plastic storage bags that my bed comforter set comes in. They are great for storage under the bed!

I have a Rainbow vacuum cleaner, I absolutely love it. That said, storing it so that it is easy to access and use as often as I would like, once a day would be best, we have a small menagerie in a very small apartment ( just under 300 sqft including bathroom, with standing shower, and a kitchen you can almost turn around in with out knocking something down) The vacuum consist of a base, like the old canister vacs, a water basin which can NOT be stored in the base or an inclosed space since it is almost never completely dry (currently lives in the bottom of the shower under the chair) and an 18 gallon tote of accessories, vacuum head and tubes, carpet cleaning parts, and a hard floor cleaner (there is a wall cleaner attachment we don't have as of yet) Currently the base and the tote sort of wander around the apartment and all to often I find it buried and to hard to get to when I want to use it, and since I am disabled as is my partner generally that means the vacuuming will not get done at that time. The only parts I absolutely need to use it daily are 2 tubes, the long accordion tube, head base and basin, but I am unsure of a good way to store those parts separately and with in reach. Any ideas for me?

Ever thought of just putting one can on top of the other in the cupboard. They are designed to fit on top of each other. That is how they're usually stacked in the supermarket.
