Part that worries me is he killed and ate someone because he felt shit about himself. Now a days he is out of favor so does that mean he is likely killing and eating people. He might in his crazy pants brain think that he could get his fame back like last time.
"I didn't want people to think I was hurting her so I killed her" is the dumbest excuse I've ever heard, even dumber than "I happen to fall ass first while pantless on an eel and now it's stuck."
Lmao reminds me of that guy in 4chan who's asking everyone how to cure salmonella because he slipped while holding a raw chicken, wearing no pants because he likes the breeze, and it grazed his dick. Everyone concluded that he raw dogged the chicken.
A certain actor, from an officer and a gentleman, progressed from a hamster/gerbil to eels??!?! Omg. I laughed my arse off when I read your comment. Thanks for the giggle! Be well.
@@Warm_Ice0 It's funny because it's 4chan. You can be anonymous so he might as well just admit to the Internet that he raw dogged it. Probably not even that weird for 4chan
So no one's going to talk about the first story? The kid with the new camera is the GOAT. He deserves a medal. Without him taking those random photos, the killer driver is still on the loose.
The really sad part is that the police was already suspecting him of being the killer for the other case but basically never got around to arresting him... He's also suspected of another homicide.... But at least that fucker has gotten his face smashed a couple of times by other inmates over the years! He's had to move prison twice because of the beatings!
As a hobby photographer just some 10-30 people admire my pictures on instagram and his snapshots are so much more worthy formte public. Weird thinking…
@@hakancarlsson2881 I lately saw a documentary about „woman abusers“ in prison. First there is a hierarchy on which these people stands on the bottom (even child predators are levelled lower9 and therefore they are not most of the time target of aggressions they are victims be clan initiations. So they were just used for newbies to become member in a prison gang. It is nearly organized and nearly a 100% sure thing, that these guys get stabbed or beaten up. The documentary said, even if they try as hard as possible, they can’t do nothing against it. Some prisons or i think it was only one, have extra units for these criminals. But there are not endless places and it takes a long administrative process to get there. And one wrong behaviour brings you back in the normal prison. So a very small number of these monsters can avoid being punished by other monsters. Gives me the weird feeling liking these „other monsters“ in some way.
The fact that the Japanese guy is now free and still given relevance ridicules and annoys the hell out of me.....why are they even getting him some popularity he should be JAILED and not set free....and the fact that he even published a gory book... this is sick
Can we talk about that photographer guy tho? Man realized he took a picture of this missing girl and doesn't just take that photo to police he takes his whole CAMERA. He's such a big part of the killer being caught and the little girl's body being found. Holy shit
@Sterling Smith people must take lessons from history but as you know horrible things that happened in past become a non sensitive topic. And that's for good. Some parts of history and religions are better to be kept only in history
The Terry Jo story is insane... i cannot imagine witnessing your family die then having to float through an open ocean all alone for four days 😭 i hope shes doing okay
It's pretty horrible-sounding. People talk about being alone with your thoughts being challenging, so imagine that for four days when you're bordering on dying AND your family just got murdered.
The absolute strength that it took her to live, I respect her endlessly. At 11 years old she saw everyone she loved brutally murdered and as the sole survivor chose to get on the makeshift float and held onto hope that she would be found. Instead of just laying down and giving up or throwing herself at the mercy of the sea and the creatures in it she stayed her course and never gave in. Mad respect.
The girls with the train weren’t “not paying attention” to the train. It was a Snapchat challenge or whatever, to take a selfie in front of an oncoming train. SMH...
Trains don't look like they go very fast because they're so big, but that's far from the case. Not extremely fast of course sometimes but fast enough to hit you and you would never know what hit you. Their inability to stop doesn't help them either, a mile to stop is quite a ways. Darwin Awards to those three. They way they died is almost funny. Almost. Their vanity cost them their lives. I hope it was worth it. I do feel bad for them and their families don't get me wrong, but taking a selfie with an oncoming train barreling your way is just moronic.
There was a somewhat funny story about a guy run over by a train. Happened in my hometown. The guy supposedly fell asleep on the tracks. The train went over him. The police ran to see his condition. He had very minor injuries. He was upset that the police woke him up. He tried to go back to sleep.
I was wondering if there was WAY more behind that story than oopsie we were so braindead that we didn't realize we stopped directly on some train tracks, didn't hear the blaring horn of the train behind us, AND when taking the selfie that we could see on the screen we completely missed the incredibly giant train light in the pic right behind us.
Can you imagine being 11yrs old, losing your parents and drifting on a small float in the ocean for 4 days after someone tried to kill you? Poor girl. I'm glad she was rescued. 💗
Renée Hartevelt. That poor girl. I can't imagine the Hell her family has gone through with their daughter's killer being treated as some gross sort of celebrity in his home country.
I like how someone who lied to his family, friends, and the whole world about who he really is his ENTIRE LIFE, then gets so offended when the police lie to him to do their jobs.
I found out that the Japanese cannibal got his karma payback, finally. He had a stroke and suffered irreparable nerve damage. He's now being cared for by a sibling. Thankfully he can no longer harm anyone.
Terry actually shared her story on the show "I Survived", she mentioned that the captain was charming but quiet, and she remembers seeing the bodies of her family on the boat and the captain ran into her, pointing a rifle at her. She went back to bed before realizing the boat was sinking. She managed to get the cork boat off the top of the boat and get in it before the boat sank. She tried to flag down passing boats and planes but the white caps on the sea made it hard for her to see. She didnt even think the boat that did find her actually saw her. She's still alive today at around age 60.
I think the fact that the Menendez brothers said that their father brutally sexually abused them for about a decade and friends and family members testified that there were clear signs of sexual abuse during their childhood is a pretty crucial detail of that case…
Oh my god, seriously? Those poor boys... though I wouldn't ever kill someone, I was abused by a pedo family member as a child and it destroys you in the worst of ways. I can't blame them at all in that case..
right. and they killed the mom bcuz she knew and wouldnt stop their dad from raping them. it wasnt about $. this vid is lacking crucial details in several stories
my thoughts EXACTLY...was super disappointed when i heard him call them "sociopaths" and painted them as if they were spoiled children who killed their parents for a couple million dollars...such a complex case
I felt it too. Something off putting and like a creepy vibe. I felt the same when I first saw a pic of Ted Bundy (Who was considered by others to be handsome and charming) even before I found out it was Ted Bundy. It’s like our minds are telling us danger! Get away! kinda like when you look down from somewhere really high or when you see a snake. It’s like our bodies are warning us of something that could be dangerous. I truly believe some people are gifted with this sort of sixth sense I think I do but I don’t think everyone has it. I know it sounds stupid but I really believe that.
@Lain Trainer That's actually just your prejudice as you're told of them being serial killers or psychos after, and therein you assign them the ugly tag because you associate it as something bad or deplorable. In fact, if we look at this statistically and evidence from surveys, 95% of the time, psychos are more likely than not, are either charismatic and good looking or wealthy and good looking as they're usually put in pedestals early on in life and therefore believe they can get away with anything without consequence. In fact, there are many case studies where women are shown images and are asked to determine which one is a serial killer, and a majority of the time, they identify the person they associate as ugly as the serial killer, overlooking the actual good looking and charismatic serial killer. So yeah, you're just a basic bitch.
@gamewizard I although it was a bad choice, he still did it to show his love for his lover so he should rest in peace, it's not like he planned his death for her to gawk at.
gamewizard I well he didn’t deserve it though cause the actual backstory for the girls who were hit by a train was they were doing a challenge on Snapchat where you take a selfie in front of a train
The most messed up thing is that Sagawa was in a documentary. Where they paid a porn star to sleep with him. Then on the ride home they told her who he was. It was heart breaking to see her mental breakdown.
The fact that there's apparently enough people getting some sort of satisfaction from not just watching this awful man go free, but also doing things like this and spreading the misery to others, is just sickening. Sagawa makes me hope there is a hell for him to go to.
@@shugoibaka "Sagawa makes me hope there is a hell for him to go to." Wishing infinite punishment upon someone for their finite crimes makes you infinitely more immoral than they are.
I actually knew 1 of the girls in the train picture, she was good friends with one of my bandmates back in high school. Did a window washing job for the family a few years down the road and the girls' room was still completely untouched. Really sad what happened
Saint Michael yes dumbass! These were all real breathing people in this video with real lives, loved ones, emotions, hobbies, and histories! What’d you think, that they were all just fake stories and the photos were staged?!
They might even take a page out of Eklund's book when brought for questioning on the beating: "It was all just a misunderstanding, he simply got in the way of my fist. What was I supposed to do?"
Yes, I've never seen those. Pretty chilling stuff. I knew it was BTK the second I saw him, but those photos really let us know who and what he is. A sick perverted man under the guise of normalcy. In them he seemed quite obsessed with his victim's helplessness, some fantasies should stay fantasies, I'm glad he wasn't allowed to die a "good family man" as was his plan. From what I've heard his daughter has really had to work to come to grips with it. I'm glad her interest in getting a medical degree became the smoking gun to take him down. It's like the virtues of the daughter help cleanse the sins of the father. I hope she does great things.
Especially with her just seeing her whole family being murdered in front of her, that had to make it imprint in her head even more. 4 days of it rerunning thru her mind
That piece knew that they would eat him alive in prison. From what I can understand, ppl there dont exactly like the guys who hurt or touch kids. He wouldve died in the first 3 days
Imagine getting mad that the police lied to you when you've brutally killed 10 innocent human beings and sent mocking letters to them. I just-I don't even know, man.
Japan: "This man has weed! Throw the book at him!" Also Japan: "I mean, he only murdered and cannibalized 1 woman. Obviously he's crazy and *counts money* won't do it again."
Nope, she just took the neutral route. She could’ve taken the chaotic good ending and we’d be praising her even more to this day. You clearly don’t know crap about morality and personality types 💩
The Menéndez brothers case is a bit more complicated…. They had been repeatedly raped by their father and their mom knew everything and didn’t help them or stopped their abuse. They wanted a way out of that hell and all they came up with was killing their parents. It’s still bad to kill someone, but that was a way for them to get out of the constant abuse. It’s a sad story all together.
To quote a moment from a round of Among Us in my friend group, "You sure seem to be finding a lot of dead bodies. Are we really supposed to believe you're _that_ unlucky?"
And technically there's no afterlife Edit: no I can't prove there is no afterlife, but based on the available evidence, what we can confirm, and what we know about the world around us, there isn't compelling or convincing evidence to conclude that an afterlife exists.
from what i heard there were two trains and they got stuck between them. the second one ‘snuck’ up on them. it’s very unfortunate but train tracks are not safe to be around.
The only time you should even consider going to a train track is if it is abandoned -the tracks mostly torn apart, ect. Also, some rails are even electric so, if the train doesn’t get you, the third rail will.
One of my friends is a photographer and she always has people who want to do photo shoots on/around train tracks. She refuses, but a lot of the time the clients are whiny about it. 🙄
Once heard a story from New York, a dude was brutally murdered for a single dollar note that was hanging out of his pocket. *One dollar,* the lows some people will go to..
I'm glad this man decided to take random pictures of stuff to test his camera if not this The murderer probably wouldn't be found for many years maybe forever
It still sickens me that Sagawa was treated like a celebrity in Japan. I saw him in TV when I was in Japan but I had no idea about the cannibalism (I thought he was a famous chef or something). I found out about his past when I left Japan and UA-cam became a thing.
"This looks like a picture of your typical dorky UNCLE along side his daughter..." is actually what Lazy said but I digress. The sociopath in the picture oddly kind of resembles Walter White from Breaking Bad IMO but "dorky uncle" is a fairly accurate description.
Only sentenced to a mental institution because of he is the generation of wealthy foreigners, until the French decided to just randomly hand him back to the Japanese, who set him free, and made him a celebrity.... "white privilege is totally a real thing, I swear....", lol
For the "the last selfie" one I have a hard time believing that none of them heard the train. Any person who has ever heard a train can describe how loud they are, even without sounding their horn. How was it that none of those girls heard it coming? To me it sounds like they could be thrill seeking, standing on the tracks and then snapping a picture before jumping out of the way at the last second. Lots of people in India have done it and it became a viral trend for a bit. I feel so sad for those poor girls regardless, I hope it was just an accident and that they weren't playing with their lives like that. May they rest peacefully
People get distracted, simple as that. Horror Stories made a video of a woman getting hit by a train after she had her divorce case, here it is though it is very graphic m.ua-cam.com/video/IZYDc_yR0qA/v-deo.html&bpctr=1591376553 . And if they wanted to get famous, they would of made a video and not taken a picture since you can't even tell their near some tracks or that the thing behind them is a train.
Hi Naomi I share a train story with you. My best friend in high school had just inherited his grandparents house lucky right. So after approx a month he found 20+ ounces of gold in the wall. He went to a coin store and sold it for cash on the way home he took short cut down the tracks with head phones on and got hit by train. Instantly killed him he went from having a house and a large amount of cash to dead . RIP Paul..
I`m a Swede, and even though I was young at the time Engla was killed its impossible to forget all the media coverage of the crime. That school portrait of her was everywhere. Seeing it again was chilling. RIP Engla
I mean even if he’s mentally unstanble atleast they should’ve atleast put him in jail for a couple of months and have to pay for compensations for what he did to said person
As much as I love Japan and their neat ass culture, their weird... love... for killers is a little worrying (probably doesn’t help with how many ‘Yandere’ appear in media)
@@stock2896 there are countless movies, documentaries, TV shows, and even songs about real life murders and serial killers in America alone, I'd say we definitely beat Japan when it comes to fascination with monsters.
For those concerned about Issei Sagawa, he’s not living a “happy” life. Currently he’s under the care of his brother after suffering a cerebral infraction leaving his nerves heavily damaged. He’s practically a vegetable. In his own words the photos he partook in were solely for money because he couldn’t get a job anywhere else since everyone in Japan knew his terrible criminal history. This man was by no means glad he “got away with it”
It's my unpopular opinion that while it would be nice for people who do terrible things to be punished, if they don't still commit crimes, why does it matter how long they were in prison? If you are religious, your deity will punish bad people as much as (or debatabley more than) they deserve. If you aren't religious, no government should spend money on things that don't benefit anyone when they have real problems they should spend money on that will save people's lives.
@@goonymiami It's more about people wanting to see criminals punished for reasons unrelated to whether or not they will do it again. When most people say that they wish someone was punished more than they were for a crime, is it because they did research and determined that the punishment wasn't severe enough to teach them a lesson, or is it because what they did was bad and they want the criminal to have some sort of karmic punishment at the expense of taxpayers?
@@RRW359 What...? Are you serious? You must be kidding... I can't believe that you wrote this with no intent of being satyrical. No wonder why your opinion is unpopular. Prison exists, and has been invented for some good reasons: to remove criminals and delinquants from society in order to protect other people from them, so that they are no more of a problem to deal with for several years, to prevent them from doing something bad again in the future with the fear of being locked away, and to punish them in a way that wouldn't be agains't the law or human rights but would still be equivalent to what they've done. Equivalence, this is how Justice is supposed to work, and this is why it's symbol is a balance. Believe it or not, but this system works most of the time and this is why we've kept it, it's also for the same reason that you punish a kid when he acts badly: because simply explaining whilst giving no consequences to face whatsoever barely even works. Well, except in those cases when sometimes, kids act badly without even knowing it, because they don't know better and need to be taught, which is not the case for any normal adult. On another note, still according to what you've written, do you really think that it wouldn't be a bad thing to let robbers, rapists, killers, gangsters and terrorists free? Do you really think that they would stop their actions on their own if they were not put behind bars? And do you really think that innocent people around them would not deserve/need to be protected? And about that religious point you've made... well, I have no words to describe how flawed and childish it is. That sentence where you say that if you're religious, then your deity will punish you in the afterlife, I still can't believe that you've said it seriously... you really need to think about what you're about to say before saying it, and you really need to educate yourself on some subjects before trying to form an opinion about them, I say this for your own good.
@@na-ky8ou If you want to separate them from society that's also fine, but there are people that view prison as punishment for the sake of punishment. Not as a way to deter people or separate them or reeducate them, but just as something that needs to happen because someone did something bad. That's the mentality that I think is waste of resources.
I’ve heard two completely different sides of the menendez brothers story. One side is this once where they kill their parents and live it large on their money. The other is that they were horrifically abused by their parents and then kill them. This one paints them as evil where the latter paints them as survivors
Actually if you look it up, years later one of the band member of Menudo (a famous Spanish band from back in the day that Ricky Martin was part of) came out saying the brothers dad also abused him. The dad was like one of the managers of the band. More evidence also came out to back up his story. Not saying that's a reason for them to kill them, but Yea they really were being abused.
The first one is just incredibly scary. The girl did everything what me, a girl, was told when I was a kid too- when a stranger approaches and you feel uncomfortable by their actions, you defend yourself and raise your voice to get attention. If only it would work every time... RIP
They were actually already standing with another moving train to their right. They didn’t hear the second one coming and got caught between the two. I knew these girls
@@Dee.jahnay the tracks were parallel to each other. The trains would have simply passed by each other with no issues but the girls who couldn’t hear the second one coming were already standing on the “unused” tracks.

There is actually a lot more to the Menendez brothers story than was said here. They each had their own trials first, both of which resulted in mistrials because of the allegations of lifelong sexual abuse that came out during their testimony. They also had testimony of confirmation from family members that they knew of the abuse way before the murders. In the second trial, the abuse allegations were not allowed into evidence, which is where they were found guilty. Again, not to say they are innocent or that they don't deserve to be in prison, just there are nuances to the story that Lazy failed to mention or imply. I think with a bit more research about the case he may have found there could have been other motives to the murder than just insurance pay out.
@@adamdankson448 I'm torn. I feel sympathetic because I think the pain they suffered was genuine, but they were both adults when they committed the murders. They had other options. I think their defense was that they were afraid, but I am not so sure about that. I just keep picturing them as children and how much they endured but does that mean the parents needed to be murdered once they could get out of the abusive situation? I don't know. It's a hard case for sure.
The girls knew the train was there, they took the pic thinking it was cool and didn't know how fast trains are. They knew it was there. Some other comment says it was a "challenge", it wasn't a challenge they were just dumb.
I'm familiar with the BTK case. I've seen the crime scene photos of his victims. And, as bad as those are, I really think his photos of himself in his bondage get-up is even more creepy and disturbing. He's one sick SOB.
I normally have a good feeling for bad people. I am not often surprised to see a photo of a killer. But the BTK killer looks like a nice grandpa. He looks into the sun, therefore that creepy smile but overall he looks so normal, that it is unsatisfying in a weird way.2

This may sound disrespectful to the dead but what are you thinking when you go on AN ACTIVE TRAIN TRACK to take a selfie? I swear, it was completely their own fault that they got hit.
I'm just going to assume that most trains alteast blare their horn when they see something, so if the train was blasting the horn, you think they would hear something. How dense do you have to be to miss a train?
oime1. com but trains aren’t quiet. Surely they would’ve at least heard it coming - look how close it is to them. Suicide pact maybe? Taking their last picture together? Who knows 🤷🏼♀️
The last photo in number nine looked like my grandma when she was younger. She lived to a very nice old age, but she did mention a couple times that she didn't like photographers or having a photoshoot taken of her without anybody else.
I don't know why but whenever lazy says "and remember, the best things happen in the dark" it just gives me chills. Does this happen to anyone else? (I have goosebumps on my arms)
The Engla case was so sad... She was one year younger than me, I remember her story when it happened. It was also a debate about how the murderer should have been caught sooner. He committed another murder previously, and during that time even had marks on his register (sexual/violent crimes) but no one really 'looked' more into him, despite this. No one can be held responsible as a person, but it's many who believe the murder on Engla could have been prevented if the police work done on the previous murder was handled better... Just overall sad story
Yes, indeed. However, it was a true miracle that someone was just out taking random pictures and got a pic of the killers red car and plates.. and then realized it and turned them into the police! Truly miraculous. So glad he got caught, but yes I def do wish it was sooner as well.. God bless his victims n their families. 💜🙏

The Apollo 1 fire disturbed me for two reasons: in 1967, I was four, and utterly fascinated with spaceflight - American, Russian, it didn't matter to me, it was all exciting. I don't think people today understand just what a big deal it was then, but it was new, unknown and thrilling. Then one evening, mum came into my bedroom - and she had been crying, which bothered me greatly, as I didn't know grown ups cried. She told me that there had been a fire in the new rocket, and the three men inside, Grissom, White, and Chaffee, had all died. I knew about Ed White, as my 'Action Man' (I'm in the UK) Astronaut was based on him doing America's first Spacewalk, and that made me very, very sad, about him, and the other two poor guys. I was four, and then, Astronauts were better than Batman. Thinking about it now, it seems odd that a lady from England was crying because three young men she had never met, had died three thousand miles away, but that's how revered and beloved all of these guys were; my mother never forgot their names - attempting the seemingly impossible - and paying the price for it. A very high one, as it turned out.
I was 17 at the time. I was watching tv after dinner - "The Time Tunnel", I recall - when a news bulletin came in saying there had been an accident at the Cape, and that "at least one of the astronauts" had been killed. Several moments later, Cronkite appeared, saying that all three had perished. I too had idolized the astronauts, knew all their names and who had flown on what missions (still do!), so their deaths hit me almost like a physical blow.
Sagawa is probably the most messed up person I have ever seen. That documentary for him was highly distressing, and really showed you how insane he is. Not only does he want to get the death penalty or be killed, but he genuinely desires to be killed slowly, torn apart piece by piece, preferably by a beautiful woman. That's literally his fantasy...like, wtf. That alone is enough to tell he is fucked. XD
@@fistfullofglass No, but they were repeatedly both sexually and emotionally abused from childhood by their father a proven pedophile. "The conquest of space is worth the risk of life" just makes me think of those jokes that NASA knows what's deep in our oceans and they're trying to get as far from Earth as possible.
I think that was poor way of framing it as a sacrifice when the tragedy was entirely preventable and only happened because people ignored warnings and were too blasé to do their jobs despite the lives at stake.
To those who slam NASA. It wasn't just the electrical fire, it was also that the door couldn't be opened easily from the inside...this they fixed before the next mission. I get a little sick of people slamming NASA. They can only know what they know. Who ever was supposed to remove the material, is the one who is partly to blame for the fire. But the flammable material did NOT cause the fire. The problem was electrical. So enough with the bull shit...test pilots died during training, military people die in war and in training to this day. You can decide. Do you want space exploration? NO? Then stop using your computers, your phones, your tablets, your temperature monitoring devices, your medical devices, you Wi Fi, your GPS...idiots. Do you want to be able to defend your country? Even then, people still die. They die in car accidents, from smoking, addiction, alcoholism, disease...you all act like hiding from life, will save you. It won't.
They were actually already standing next to a moving train. So they didn’t hear the second one coming. They got caught between the two and one of them actually survived for a few hours without her limbs in the hospital. This happened about a mile from my childhood home.
Kaycee Chesnut I’m sorry, I’m just confused, if it was a moving train that they were already standing next to, shouldn’t they have been in a safe area? To avoid the train that they are standing next to? I live in a city, and we had train tracks on our back yard, BUT this is the city, so, I imagine it being different. I’m just confused and I’m so sorry, this is so sad... it’s scary how dangerous train tracks are
Rock Is Rx as far as I remember the two tracks were next to each other with only about a foot or two of space between them. Tere Jo co-authored a book about her experience at sea called “Alone: Orphaned on the Ocean”. It’s harrowing. The boat sank in pitch darkness and the fact she survived that ordeal in the murderous chaos is incredible, then the following days of torture by nature on top of that. She is an astounding survivor. It’s been several years since I’ve read the book, but the story has naturally stuck with me, and I’d like it to be more known. That picture speaks a thousand words, but there are so many more words to be said.

I heard she's done interviews and is doing extremely well, seems very well adjusted and living a normal life!
that was decades ago but it’s still sad she probably thinks about what happened to her family. i hope she’s still alive now
It's pretty horrible-sounding.
She since then became a seaboat captain

If you aren't religious, no government should spend money on things that don't benefit anyone when they have real problems they should spend money on that will save people's lives.
@@RRW359 How do you figure out they won't do it again?
RIP

Yeah I kinda feel bad for them
@@adamdankson448 I'm torn.
@@hannahbeanies8855 If the allegations are true, then the brothers couldn't be on trial for murder, for the victims of murder can only be people.

They wanted a picture of the train with them. They knew it was coming but didn't realize it was going to suck them under.

Maybe he didnt blare the horn. He maybe lied.

I love this type of videos with dark events from real life.
