Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two playable factions, the Soviets and the Allies, which both previously appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode. Red Alert 2 was a commercial and critical success, receiving an 86% from GameRankings.

This is because of the speed of the game he chose. It's too fast for this lady.
This game was too fun. Hope they come out with a remake or another like this...
Even just more expansions would be great
Newer version game tend to have lower quality than older one when it come to story so i would choose remake to improve compatibility and experience....
Also some improvement on graphics and voice line (vehicle units have same voice line like most Allied has same as grizzly tank and Soviet same as Rhino tank).....

Yeah red alert 2 and 3 remastered are coming out at august 23! it is made by Putin Entertainment and partnered with Zelensky Game World
Or just replay the old and leave the idea of a remake in the trash
Hot tips for you: Chrono legionnaire can protect your structures/units by force firing them, and the computers tend to destroy their intended target until it's done (in this case, kirov targeting barracks and then conyard) so you can watch them helplessly trying to destroy their victims that being 'attacked' by Chrono legionnaire... Remember, cancel the attack once the enemies are gone

@@zoom3000 it's all thanks to that one youtuber named 'pimpiiti', I watched him(or her?)using c.legion to protect the barracks against kirovs without the need to buy another barracks... Talk about micromanagement

I remember that mission was super hard for me when I was kid, now It seems preety easy comparing to challenging 7 brutals or something :D
Right. Even when I lost my MCV, I didn't get too excited, I didn't start over, I just kept going
My tip:
Use some chrono legionarie to destroy red's nuclear reactor's to disabled nuke silo
Its still hard.. that iron curtain, oh man!
When my dad lost all the constructs he still have a bunch of Prism Tank and use them to ravage everything
I found that the nuke always targets your southernmost production facility. If you capture the nuclear reactors to the east, you can deploy a Naval building, and it'll harmlessly get nuked to half health. Defend it with an Aegis cruiser from Kirovs, and you can use aircraft carriers to take out most of the eastern defenses. Otherwise, I just deploy my MCV a bit north of the start location, and put a War Factory where the sandbags and fence are after destroying them with IFVs. I then sell it after they launch the nuke.
Yup, while watching I knew the nuke always goes for you warfactory and cringed when he was building so much close to it lol
@@Alpr1010 I noticed that on the Pearl Harbor mission, the missile would always land on where I place my War Factory

24:26 This sole scene makes RA2 Tanya the best out of the three.
I captured the 2 reactors in the East side with engineers. This is easy since they are unguarded but you have to control the direction of the nighthawk transport to pass through the waters to avoid the flak cannons on land. The other reactors are trickier, both of them only have flak cannons next to it but you want to avoid getting the attention of the Apocalypse Tank guarding the superweapons. I used my chrono legionnaire to teleport far enough from the tank's radar but close enough to hit the reactor

Well done . I have been playing since the game came out In the year 2000 and you are good. Do t listen to what other ppl say. Everyone approaches the game differently and you are skilled. Keep it up.. also victory to the motherland

An Engineer in an IFV can do a lot to keep your other IFVs alive after dealing with enemy tanks and Kirovs.
My strategy was always that: get 16 to 20 harriers ready and send them on the nukesilo in one swoop, then the iron curtain. After that you get a decent timewindow to breathe
Love this mission, think it's the best in the whole game. Feels like such a struggle. Took me about 50 min to finish it the other day...
I have always wondered, how do you have the option to change game speed in Red Alert 2 campaign? I don't see that option when I play campaign.
Go to your RA2 or Yuri exe shortcut file - SHORTCUT ONLY! - not the original exe file. right click properties add to your location this: -speedcontrol
i mean, for example: "C:\Red Alert 2\YURI.exe" -speedcontrol

Every time I play this, I waypoint IFVs to distribute the starting tesla coils for max no. of elites. Saved a lot of credits not needing those rocketeers against the Kirovs. And I can also forcibly push forward with their high damages, killing apocs sometimes.
And.... Our commander ( zoom3000) completed this game :3
Omg this was so hard on easy mode. I took your strategy and took the two right side nuclear reactors and used the chromo guys to disable the other 2. Made a weather control station to destroy the lvl 3 tanks and then teleported mirage tanks to destroy the last few Black flak cannons and sentry guns. I beat it!

@@SimonClarkstone not backwards per se, rather reverse-he went from allies to soviets, from playfully harassing to desperately holding the line with whatever tanks he had left

tips use the chronosphere to the black apocalypse tank and trow it in the water also you chronosphere to the other tank make a spy to infiltrate soviet battle lab to get psi commando you can use it to mind control ememy troops crate alot of prism tank as possible and boom you win

I used massed prism tanks with this mission and in the beginning after the all of the units were chrono shifted, I rushed the nuclear missile with them to destroy it.

This mission reminds me of Operation Typhon, an operation that had the Germans capture Moscow and took its premier(Stalin) into custody.
I somehow defeated the black guard with only two chrono legionnaires, with everything else of my army and base being destroyed by nukes and Kirovs.
I totally forgot you can capture those nuclear plants and shut off their power. Yeah its a lot easier then. I never shut off the power but i know that they like to huddle infront of the two two buildings before they set off their iron curtain so ill put 20 troops there and maybe some mirage tanks and tank over that area. As far as the nuke they always try to destroy my tank factory so i set that aside every time, away from my base. Building iff tanking is smart cause those blimps will try to blow you base up quickly. Mirage tanks backed by prism tanks are the best thing red alert two. I can destroy anything with them. and some air defense.
I just chrono'd the black tanks to my base in the middle of a bunch of GIs and then teleported in a small team to wipe out the rest of the defenses
You can use Chronosphere on the apocalypse and teleport them to the water😊

I have this game when 9 Years old, and now they delete all the Red Alert because they release the premium CD
I just kept one nuclear power plant and kept sending spies to power down those super weapons

too slow you must build a defense first then buy transporter and enginner to capture the building and sell it
