I didnt understand how you make the offline sale work for retailers and attribute it back to FB, like where is the customer ID point, the retailer doesn't has it , so how it attributes the sale to the right ad at all?
In its simplest form, it works by taking customer information that you send to Meta and matches that information with a user on one of Meta’s various platforms. If a match is found, look back at every ad that user has been served in the last 90 days. If it finds that a user viewed/clicked on one of your ads before the conversion took place and the timing of that view/click is within the attribution window your ad set is set to, it’ll attribute the conversion to the ad that was displayed.
Zapier has a worldwide issue - this won't work until they fix it. ZAP won't recognize Event Set - if someone can talk to them please do because on the community there are at least 4 people with the same issue as me in the past 10 hours
Hi guys, is Facebook Offline Conversions relevant for use case, where I would like to send lead events to an offline dataset including fbclid parameter, so that the offline lead could be properly attributed to a click id of an ad? (in other words a user clicked on my FB ad. Then a few days later he submited a form. Let's say due to a connectivity issue the lead wasn't send via FB pixel to FB, so that I want to send the lead back via FB Offline Conversions). What I don't know, how FB would be able to attribute the lead to the click, if I didn't send fbclid as one of the parameters (along with hashed first name, last name etc.)
I think we need to create a custom conversion from it and then assign that at the adset level, but I'm not sure how to create a custom conversion from an offline event.
Hey, So I have a very basic question! If I upload the offline conversion through zap will I be able to optimize my lead ads or to be specific the lead ad set for "maximum conversion leads"? As I have tried creating a lead campaign and selected Website as conversion location then I got the option to optimize my adset for Maximum Conversion leads but whenever I opted for that option it asked me to connect my CRM. So if I connect zapier then will I be able to use this Maximum conversion leads?
Has FB recently updated the methods for offline conversions? I saw an “auto” offline data set recently in one of my accounts when setting up an ad. I don’t think I’ve noticed this before 🤔 Also is it wise to upload the csv directly to the pixel under integrations rather than a separate data event set?
Thanks so much for this valuable content! The event sets are not appearing in Zapier... why is this happening? I've already created an event set on business manager, authorized FB to use the zapier integration...Any tips? Thanks in advance!!!
Dear hi , when the Business account that we will creat the offline event has more than one page and each page has a different Business type let's say (Jewellery Page & Phone Accessories Page) do we have to creat one offline event and upload all Data of pages or what ?
I had a debate with someone about this. I thought that the conversion counted as a conversion that facebook used to optimize your ads but they thought that the two were not connected. In other words if you are optimizing for target CPA will these offline conversions count as an acquisition for that bidding strategy? I assumed it would, but they disagreed. They said only pixel events would work for that.
So in ads manager you can look at the total conversions (example: All Leads) but you can also see the leads are coming from which source (website, app, offline). So with that being said, an offline conversion will count as a conversion inside ads manager.
@@VertexMarketingAgency so basically, this replaces the need to setup conversions api, at least for leads. In other words could zapier replace the need to setup your own server for conversions api?
Hello, I have two questions that I would like to ask, and I hope they can be answered. 1: Take the purchase event as an example. After I successfully upload the offline event, can I check the purchase quantity and amount in the Ads Manager? 2: Will offline events be automatically added to all ads on the linked ad account?
The short answer is yes to both of your questions but you’ll only see the purchases that are attributed to your ads inside ads manager. So if you upload 100 purchases and none of them are from your ads you will not see any of them in ads manager.
Have you done it? I've uploaded 600 offline events, the data source from Facebook has been recorded, but when I returned to Facebook's ad manager, I still didn't see any offline conversions from any campaign
@@VertexMarketingAgency I tried it and the zap was success but the issue is Meta doesn't attribute those conversions, but when i manually upload a CSV in the events manager , It attributes.

This is outdated. FB doesnt let you create offline event sets anymore

How do you create a custom conversion from the offline event so you can train the algorithm on it, rather than the pixel based event?
For some reason, I cannot see or select this new Offline Conversion under the new Adset (when selecting what to optimize for)... any ideas??

Doesn't work - Zapier won't fetch "Event Set" from Facebook Business Manager.
Same form me. Do you know what the problem is?

Zapier wont track the Schedule event, any work around for this?
How will I know if the person has saw my ad and has come to do a purchase?

Same issue here, Did you figure it out?
Is the Offline Conversion API still working? I've tried to create the same Zap, but the Offline Event Sets are not showing in Zapier.
Yes, it’s still working.
same - after creating a new offline event set no matter what I do it won't show up in the ZAP
And google? please
Does this work for service businesses if you run lead forms?
Yes, it’s perfect for that!

If it’s for 2 different businesses I recommend having 2 different offline data set.

I wondered the same thing. If we use offline conversion do we even need to do the complex server stuff for the API
