Mimi Stillman announces Dolce Suono Ensemble's tribute to Ned Rorem - DSE Presents 12/4/2022

As a tribute to the great composer Ned Rorem, who passed away last week at the age of 99, we have added the first movement of his classic Trio for Flute, Violoncello, and Piano to our DSE Presents concert on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 3:00pm at Trinity Center for Urban Life in Philadelphia (also to be released virtually three weeks later).
From Mimi Stillman: I met and played for Mr. Rorem during my studies at the @curtisinstitute, and he was a mentor to my trio as we performed his work many times over the years. We offer this performance with great admiration for his profound contribution as composer and teacher.
