I don't think they specify the sex of the person they want; they sing about being jealous of that person's current partner. You are ASSUMING she is talking about a man, she doesn't mention the persuasion of the person she wants anywhere I heard. Since self-awareness is always good, perhaps you should acknowledge your bias in assuming the gender of the person she wants, and stop "amen"-ing all the other biased people commenting below. Just a suggestion from someone you will never meet and know nothing about. If you go looking for something you can a lot of the times find it, whether it is there or not.
