Violet was a quiet girl, as was Jenny. Stevie was violent, as was Screech. History repeats.
...also Violet's mother was silent in the face of her partner's abuse of Violet, and the generational cycle of abuser and abused continued. Who knows how far back this pattern went...or how much longer it would have gone, if Jenny and Screech hadn't broken the chain so tragically?
Maybe, with the conversations around Ren's art, we can start really speaking honestly about many things which have historically been taboo, such as generational abuse, suicide, over-prescription of psyche meds, and the undue influence of money in politics.
Also, Screech and Jenny were twins. Both were 14, which means Jenny was a 14 year old sex worker. The entire thing is just so heartbreaking.
And the dichotomy of such a tragic story told so beautifully. It’s pure genius.
When you assume Stevie was Jenny & Screech's biological father. I did that too, but after listening to it more than a hundred time, I have learned something new there. Stevie is calling Violet a liar and enquires into her being so silent. The latter is actually a good sign (but far cry from making Stevie a hero...) To have this make sense, Stevie is not the biological father. That leaves Violets dad. Jenny & Screech's grandpa would also be their biological daddy. There are many more nuggets and breadcrumbs in the tales.
This story came from a friend and myself but it did not happen to me but it started at my house first at 230 in the morning very very sad story and very dark life this was for this guy plus myself but I had nothing to do with it other than trying to help him after ..

Ren isn't in a class with anyone. After 59 years I've never seen or been so grateful to witness this generational artist honing his incredible craft in real time. Thank you for the wonderful reaction!!
It's very satisfying when reactors get the twist immediately. You would be surprised at how many don't put it together and need people to explain it to them in the comments.
Born together in violence, died together in violence. Analysis of this trilogy goes pretty deep. Ren is a singular voice amongst noise.
Ren reminds us that domestic violence often is generational.....as kids, we learn behavior from our parents.....often the 'right' way to live, but sometimes, the opposite happens......this is Bardcore !!
You have to see his band Big push covering Bob Marley " i shot the sherrif /road to zion /hip hop" medley. Great piece of music.

Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues

Ren is an amazing storyteller. Violet's take sucks you in so well, that you forget about orevious ones and the fact it must be somehow connected - what ends up with listener being caught offguard ❤
What's even more tragic... They were twins, right? 14 years old? Imagine what 14yo girl was doing late night in the streets, wearing high heels? 🙁
I believe the story is based on an actual news story ren read in the paper one day. He just changed some things like names to fit the song and for privacy's sake I assume.

I also saw Ren number 54 on the top 100 billboard charts in America for his "sick boi" album. Taylor Swift (gag) is the number 1 spot. Ren never thought in a million yrs he would even be in the top 100 billboard charts. Also last week he was number 1 top spot on the itunes top album sales. Number 1 on the UK charts last week bumping Rick Astley, Drake, Ed Sheeran all for top spot. I saw he got top 5 in other charts but to many to remember.

"Money Game" would be another Ren Trilogy and has a great deep message

I love listening to and watching Ren videos, but I especially enjoy watching reactions to the videos I want to see so I can feel like I'm sharing the experience with friends. 😃 I've seen, quite literally thousands of Ren reactions and I always check out new reaction suggestions. I watch the suggested video, and if it's not Hi Ren, I then go to their Hi Ren reaction and go from there. I found y'all with your Chalk Outlines reaction, and now I'm catching up. What makes this more amazing is the first two tales were written after reading a newspaper article but Violets tale was written two years latter.

Sadly, The tale Of Jenny And Screech is not on the Sick Boi album. There is a live version of this recorded in the same location which was kept secret until the moment of the performance which was filmed on a gopro 360 camera. You guys have so much catching up to do. Check out the I Shot The Sherriff medley for a starter.
He sold it in a separate CD a yr or so ago. When I purchased the bundle, (Freckled Angels, Demo CD volume 1 and 2, along with Violets tale) it all came together. He already has 18 songs on the sick boi album and bumped "Castles Made of Sand" off the album. That is an awesome song a well.

The audio part is fine after you see the video. It’s easy to see the video in your head every time I listen to it.

Jenny’s tale always strikes women differently than men, especially on the first listen. It’s the story building - I doubt there’s a woman alive that hasn’t had that fear of walking alone when something just doesn’t seem right.
As guys, generally, this isn’t something we experience on the same instinctual level.
Ren is on a whole different level. His storytelling is the best I’ve ever seen and I’m 52. He’s special. Check out Money Game 1, 2 &3. You’ll be glad you did.

Ren is his own genre and im a metal head always been but Ren has shown me a side of hip hop that is what I can appreciate now (his deeper catalog of music) he is just a great artist in every sense. Been watching you guys for 3-4yrs now idk what happened but i was a sub for awhile and had to resub! Must be a UA-cam thing ive noticed it couple times with reactors i follow. Dudes! Welcome to the world of Ren from a fellow metalhead! His work isnt just music, its art. He literally draws you in with the music and sets the scene so well. I've never come across anything like this. He's so damn unique!
Still one of the best things on youtube is seeing peoples face. When they figure out the twist at the end. Rather Ren meant to or not. A ton of his music is literally built for reactions. Also for UA-cam. Because it is visually stunning art. Have to see him doing it. With just him , a instrument & camera 🎥 man!

I think everyone who watches "The Tale Of Jenny And Screech" should also watch "Screech's Instagram Stories" that show Screechs behaviour push his Girlfriend into Patricks arms and thats why they are both busy cause they are together.

What the world is learning is that this is NOT a 'song'! It's a { Wholly Ren Style } multi-genre blend of Medieval Minstral / Troubadour [ Bardcore ] and modern spoken-word poetry Street Theatre. All created, composed, scripted, sung, acted, and narrated by this unique and mega-talented artist.
BUT Ren is far MORE than simply an Artist, he's also a powerful Social Commentator, who's not afraid to tackle the hard topics. He wants us to not look away. To care. He is using all the skills at his disposal to say; "We know why this stuff is happening - and keeps happening. We need to do more to stop it!"

Stick with him. He does have songs out there that don't leave you so emotionally wrecked trust me. He can make you laugh as well as cry. he can make you think too, But he never leaves you disappointed, Ren is a true once in a lifetime talent.

Ren's mad talented. Your journey so far has been interesting, but you should know that Ren has many (*many*) sides musically that aren't so serious, though still very cool. Some of my faves have an island feel ("Humble"): or a bluesy sound ("Ocean"); or a 90s hip-hop sound ("What You Want"); or an indie rock sound ("Hold On"). His faster raps tend to be more word or syllable play ("The Hunger" or "Losing It") and simple fun. His "Money Game" series is a different kind of storytelling and 🔥. Part 3 just came out and is amazing (if you do watch the series, be sure to watch the official lyric video for part 2)

Ren is a Master at Combining all art forms to support his stories. From Location and Video Directing Worthy of Tarantino or Spielberg, to Lyrics Shakespeare would have been Proud to have Written, To an Emotional Performance on par with Marlon Brando or Morgan Freeman and the Musical Prowess of Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton and the Vocal Chops of Robert Plant or M&M! He can reach right through the Camera and Grab the Soul of his Audience and hold it in the Palm of his Hand! Ren really does have it all!
