- In this video, we are driving through the Khunjerab Pass to get from China to Pakistan. The video was filmed on November 3, 2023.
When we read online we saw conflicting reports that there would be too much snowfall and that the border closes end of October.
However, after talking with some local guides in Pakistan, we were assured that the border would be most likely open till late November (2023).
Enjoy the video of us driving down the first parts of the Karakoram highway in Pakistan (during the winter season) to the Sost Border Crossing.
One of the most beautiful roads we ever drove on.

We drove for charity. For every 1 KM we drive, we donate 1 Euro to KiKa (Children Cancer Research) and ZZF (Rare Disease Fund).

The Khunjerab Pass holds several distinctions, including being the highest paved international border crossing globally and serving as the highest point along the Karakoram Highway.
1:48 the ATM was closed in 2022 April when I went. It had a metal pull down door. It looks improved and open in your video. I wonder if it works.
It's my ambition to drive round the world

Yes! We are working on it, just a lot of footage to edit :)
Nice videos, but not in serial...
Winter tires all the way?
And why does so many pakistani people come to Scandinavian countries to live in snow when they have plenty in their own county?
Country's economy is in very serious condition probably the biggest reason why pakistanis leave their country
Actually we didnt have any winter tires, just standard. The only really snowing part was maybe 2 km on the Khunjerab pass, the rest was normal asphalt.
As far as I know, you cannot drive directly from China to India because the two countries do not have a defined border, only a de facto controlled ceasefire front. . . .Interestingly, if you really want to travel through China and India overland, you can only do so via Nepal or Pakistan first.
That's right, for us the easiest way was first through Pakistan then to India 😁
