Importing a #CSV file into Google #Contacts, but the phone numbers are not Listed in the Phone Number Column. Only Names are Showed it. The Solution is You need to change Column name of Phone number to phone.

I MANAGED TO DO IT WITH MULTIPLE ROWS.
Thanks for the video man. I was starting to think this was imposible. The way I did it was to import first the complete csv to microsoft contacts (outlook). I then exported, and imported in google contacts. I had the issue that the "Phone" column was added to notes (again as in the past with other methods) so I opened the csv that outlook imported me and saw the title columns it assigned (because it had work with the others titles so it was a matter of naming convention) Change the title, repeat the import/export and voila!!

I have just tried this and I still have the same issue. I changed the notepad, reopened it in sheets and the column had changed name correctly. Exported and imported to contacts and nothing :(

Yes, you are Right. it was easy in Excel; Just change the Column name and save it.

I imported 10,000 contacts but after it was done only 2,000 were available in the Google contacts list. Can you help me out with this?

After the Import is successful, Click the contacts and wait to load all the contact. In top of the list, it will showed how many contacts you have it.
This answers have in Google contacts help:
--You import more than 3,000 contacts at a time. If you have more than 3,000 contacts, split them into multiple CSVs before you import them to, You reach the limit of 25,000 contacts.
--Make sure your contacts are saved as a vCard or CSV file.
Errors:
If you get "Can't update contact" error, you might have exceeded your Contacts storage quota. This means you might have saved too many contacts, or too much info for one contact.
You can save up to 25,000 contacts or 20 MB with photos not included.
For each contact, you can save up to:
128 KB
1,024 characters per field (except "Notes")
500 fields total

Before upload(import) on google contact, you must change the number format(Scientific number to Normal Number) in excel. Otherwise will not retrieve that number.

You can Try In Excel sheet, To Change Column name Phone Number to Phone.
make sure you have only two columns. Ex. Name, Phone.
Three Columns Cannot be uploaded. Ex. Name, Phone, Email. It will take only two Columns.

Instead notepad you can change in excel. In Excel
Column Name of "Phone Number" (OR) any name you have it, change to "Phone" .
