UPND wins Dilika ward seat in Chipata Central constituency

The UPND has won the Dilika ward seat in Chipata Central constituency in the Eastern province.
The party's candidate, LEWIS ZULU polled 1,543 votes against his closest rival, AARON ZIMBA, an Independent Candidate, who got 764 votes.
Returning Officer, REUBEN SIMFUKWE declared Mr ZULU duly elected at about 23:27 hours last night.
And speaking after been declared winner, Mr ZULU pledged to deliver development in the area.
