As a black American, living in Kenya is incredible. However, it is not complete without being associated with a community and learning the wonderful culture in order to more effectively integrate and build long lasting relationship between Diaspora and our Wakenya family.
For the second time around, we were fortunate to host a successful Diaspora Network and Social Affair. A shared space of both diasporas of varying backgrounds and Kenyans alike. It was an afternoon filled with high emotion that was inspirational, informational and truly celebratory. There were presenters providing pertinent information regarding Immigration law via Traveda, Ltd, banking services via ABC (African Banking Corporation), Life insurance via Prudential Life Insurance and Tourisms and Travel via Traverze Culture. Not to mention, so many great supporters.

The president of Kenya currently visiting Atlanta and met with Shaquille and other black NBA players wanting to invest in Kenya . Also a guest of Bernice King and visited the Dr Martin Luther King center .

Nairobi is a cosmopolitan, (was a greener), beautiful and dynamic city, yet full of contrasts and economic disparities. The weather, vegetation, and fresh food/produce are plenty. Kenya is still a young country teaming with potential and growing in development. If the County and people in authority can be roped in into these engagements, it would help shape the conversation, especially in the unspoken issues.
They first need to be roped into codifying the diaspora community into law so that we don't get future horror stories as we have heard of elsewhere.

It means more cooperation between Kenya and NATO. Some countries have chosen cooperation with Russia. You attack Kenya and all NATO countries will come to its aid. But if you want to be protected by Russia then it’s good to look for citizenship in Chad, Niger or visa to Russia. And then you find out. 😂

It's also prudent to visit Kenya Severally b4 settlement because Kenya is a Cosmopolitan African Nation, 45 Communities with different cultures, religions customs, foods and older history than America..
Black African Kenyansh fought off the Mighty British Empire after WW2 to gain its independence in 1963. We have the best constitution since 2010, with an enhanced Bill of Rights.
I personally don't like the idea of the personal banker providing home services unless any transactions and discussions would be video taped. I would want to be in a he said she said situation where money is concerned. Maybe, if you end up with monthly meetings, the personal banker can come and help his/her clients in the presence of witnesses.
There's always paper trail for everything inked . No difference with visiting a personal banker exclusively in private wing of the banking hall.
