I’m trying to live in faith, not worry and give in to despair . My husband abandoned me for his mistress, seeking a divorce and left me completely impoverished , to the point of not having enough money for groceries , gas and essentials. I have enough to last me two weeks . He has hidden all his money. I pray, submit to God’s will but sometimes I do give in to despair . Trying not to. I have no idea what Jesus has in store for me , I’m 61 years of age, married 33 years, but I will trust .🛐🛐🛐✝️

@@sassysandie2865 thank you, I’m doing the best I can. This is teaching me true surrender, when you don’t have any idea what’s next, where you will be , all I can do is trust on God’s mercy and hope for heaven because this world can be so cruel. I just ask for prayers please. ❤️✝️🛐❤️❤️

Hi Anna, I've been thinking about you and praying for you today, since I saw your message. My situation is not as near to the edge as yours, but my spouse also found himself a mistress half his age and so I had to end us after 10 years. It was very hard to get him to move, even though he was openly carrying on his affair, once I found out, again. I'm still in the house we purchased, but the mortgage comes up next December, so I don't know where I'll be after then. He's been out around 4 months now and the first few were so desperately hard. I'm disabled w/ a pain/fatigue illness and the depression anxiety have been esp. crippling, to the point where I could barely leave to shop and such.
I'm a devout Christian as well. Please don't feel guilty or extra burdened because you're scared and despairing at times. The trauma from this kind of betrayal is crushing. There are many scriptures that speak to this. From Ps. 34: 17The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles. 18The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit. 19Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.…
Scriptures alone don't dampen all the pain and fear, but they renew our addled mind. Please know that there are people who understand the depth of anguish you're going through. I wish we didn't share this common suffering. Since we do though, I can at least offer more than surface comfort, because I feel it w/ you deeply. God bless you, Anna. It’s horrifying . Our society is falling apart, complete lack of morals . Living in the darkness of sin . You are right, the betrayal is crushing . I find myself breaking down in sobs out in public . Yesterday I started trembling uncontrollably in the supermarket . I had to rush out and sit in my car just sobbing . I’ve been hospitalized twice for suicide ideation . It just comes on so strong . I begged for a Bible and was locked in a room where I just knelt and prayed . I’m sorry what you’re going through , sounds awful . I certainly understand the anxiety and depression . This is not the first affair I’ve dealt with. There’s also been an incredible amount of psychological abuse. Cruelty. I just pray and pray and the Lord is really doing a big work in me . I’m learning to trust ( hard at times), have hope and grow in faith . It’s a journey . An ongoing conversion . Some days are horribly painful , PTSD, near panic attacks , attacks against my faith. All I can do is keep trusting . I still love my husband but I can’t take the abuse. He’s a sick, sick man . In complete denial . I pray for him a lot . Now a lot of repressed anger is coming out in me . I’m starting to realize what I’ve been through. Thank you for your advice , your story. I’ll keep you in my prayers . Father John, you asked for a show of hands for people who have SURRENDERED completely to God. I surrenendered last Saturday, 12-9-23. And IT TOOK 40 YEARS! People, DO NOT waste time, I am happy after 40 years of clinical depression, off of all psychiatric medications, a former living hell. There is hope, it is quite simpmy JESUS.
The Rosary will Save your Lost Children, Holy Mary will hear the prayers and Protect your children forever
This is a really good word for me as I digest how German bishops voted last week. Christ is Lord. No matter what storms come - even ecclesial storms - Christ is with us. He may seem like he’s sleeping. He will bring victory.
My daughter just came back from 🌍 Europe. She said #Germany was the scariest country she visited. We should probably pray for them.
Crying while watching this. Thank you Lord for not casting me off despite my infidelity and wickedness, but always shining your light of hope for me. Your mercy truly endures forever.

Me as well...I'm a sinner, selfish and wretched at times worried about things that don't matter....it's about Jesus.. sweet Jesus and Our Blessed Mother who cries because we've lost hope....but he's with us... He never left us..he's in the Holy eucharist.....I will not take him if I'm in mortal sin I'm going to try. I know he loves me..I know he does....I need to love him back so deeply....I want to see Jesus as he is..... thank you Father....

I thank you from the depth of my heart for this message and conference. I have prayed for years for this. You are water to a dry cistern. Souls are desperately in need of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Gospel needs to be proclaimed in fullness ... the only truth, the truth of God is the measuring stick of all words written and spoken. Jesus is sovereign and true. He is gracious, loving, and kind, but also righteous and Holy. Proclaim it! Shout it from the root tops ... Jesus is Lord.
We NEED so many MORE Bishops and Priests during these times we’re living in. When you truly have Christ as your Anchor, everything else will disappear. Give it to Him, Truly have Trust in Him. My prayers for my 4 children have been said for many many many years to return to church. Place it in His hands. My 2nd eldest has just recently started going back to church. I thanked Him, gave Him ALL the Glory as He deserves. We were specifically born at this time, let’s put on the Armor and fight for what is right and just. Our kids, family, this Nation needs God✝️🙏❤️🕯️

Darkest times indeed. Christ said it: Matthew 10 34-39. " I did not come to bring peace but a sword. I have come so that a son will be against his father...." We must become holy and persevere in the faith and trust in Christ and our Lady. Our Lady promised in Fatima that her Immaculate heart will triumph in the end for those who embrace devotion to her Immaculate heart. 🙏🙌📿

I'm a prayerful Catholic mom, and I occasionally have anxiety and fear for my children because I love them, because I see what they are up against, because I see how far away people have moved from Jesus, and because I can't get them to Heaven. I can help them get there but I can't get them there.

This time last year I was in the worst place mentally everrrr. I remember coming across /hearing things such as it will get better but I was close to losing hope as I could not imagine one can come out of such dark hole easily.

I am not afraid of dying! I am afraid of this world and what my children and grandchildren have to contend with! They left the church. I pray everyday for their return.
Keep praying my son came back to the church after 20 years. He went to Fr. John to confession after 20 years. I never thought this was possible. Pray to St. Monica.

The Beauty of Hope is that its effect is Good for us that’s why we call it The Good News. The Gospel is about our Hope through Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection. It is Good News indeed!

I started your Rescue Mission group in a small Catholic church in Michigan for 8 weeks after I had a physical disease that I thought for sure would last a very long time but was shortened by prayer and supplication. Prayers for all those who are suffering 🙏✝️

I left the convent and I feel so regretful and I don’t know how to stop the despair. I Miss the sisters so much. They took such good care of me and now I’m in a scary world wereim left to defend for myself. I’m scared
Praying for you. Many years ago I intended to join a cloister. God gave a clear sign I should marry. I did and have 6 children and 21 grandkids. My husband passed 7 years ago. I'm sometimes scared too. Trust Jesus. If He pulled you from the sisters, He has a perfect place for you. Don't look down into the waves at your feet. Look into the Lord's eyes and know He is leading you. Stay rooted in the Mass, go to confession, and finds a spot under Mary's mantle. 📿
