GDAE is correct, yes. It was sold to me as an octave mandolin, I'm never quite sure what the difference is. The wind instruments are a cornamuse, a recorder, and a tin whistle. Thank you for listening!
That was excellent Dennis, you are really rocking now. I can't hear this tune without thinking of where I first heard it, way back in the 1970's from a band call Horslips, they incorporated the tune into their song Dearg Doom. ua-cam.com/video/IpH0tCSnYIs/v-deo.html

Cool song Dennis. Nice video production with the zouk and the fades. Nicely played, good rhythm and percussion.
A rousing mix of Irish and Scottish tunes there, Dennis. Happy if somewhat late17th of March to you too!
Pipes&Drums galore! I like the way you planted Haughs O' Cromdale in the middle. The zouk is tuned GDAE? I think i recognized the Am,Em,G chords...

@@Gelsenbury the difference is fuzzy at best. I would call anything with 8 or 10 strings and a scale length > 22" a zouk, whatever the tuning.
