Hi sir, Two weeks ago my wife finally received her GC after almost 3 years waiting for the approval of the I-751, when I read it I realized that they put "M" instead of "F" in Sex. She was ready to send the N-400. The question is: can she send the N-400 without fixing that error or should she fix it first before sending the N-400.?
I would be very grateful if you answer me.

Yes, you can file the N-400 without fixing the error but I recommend filing an I-90 electronically to notify USCIS before filing the N-400. You do not need to wait for the I-90 to get approved, but it would be best to show that you notified USCIS before you apply for citizenship.

    Good evening,
I am a Green card holder since 2013 and l’m currently residing continuously in the US since 2023 .My question is : will I be eligible to apply for my naturalization after 3 years time as I am NOW 71 years old Or do I have to wait for five years.
    Many thanx

If you broke your continuous presence and recently re-established residence in the US then you might need to wait up to 4.5 years before you're eligible to apply for citizenship. There might be an exception if you obtained your green card through marriage to a US citizen and you currently live with that US citizen. See: www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-3#:~:text=A.%20Continuous%20Residence%20Requirement,to%20the%20time%20of%20naturalization.

We are inUSA since October 18th with greencard and travel back to India on March 20th.please guide us how many months can we stay out of USA and when we have to return back?

It depends on your recent travel history. I prefer if my permanent resident clients stay outside of the US for a max of 179 days so that they qualify for citizenship ASAP. You also need to spend most of your time inside the US.

Hey, so we've been waiting for 18 months for my spouse's visa i130 application to be processed at the California service center. Do you know of any similar cases and can you give us an idea of how much longer it might take?

I'm sorry - that service center is very slow. 80% of cases are completed within 42 months.
