When she got off work she was feeling a little sad. But when we got home I played this for her and mom . When her art work came on screen all of us starting cheering.
She had never done acrylic on canvas before.

Central California got rain yesterday and everyone felt like a miracle happened. We’d lose our minds getting snow or sleet.

Ahhh I though it snowed but it was just a large accumulation of hail. Back in the late 90s or early 2000’s it did the same thing in a 4 square block area of Compton as a storm stalled and spun over the area for over 2 hours and dumped about 4 ft of hail. Not snow but looks very nice. Thanks for the video.

That is either hail or soft hail given that the elevation along Malibu Canyon Road was well below the rain/snow transition height near 3000-3500ft. The Malibu Canyon weather station located just east of Tapia Park was reporting temps during the afternoon in the low 60s to mid 50s at an elevation of 610ft. Reviewing the NEXRAD data, a cell moved slowly SSE over Malibu Canyon Road and produced hail for 20-25 min starting near 2:40pm. The radar estimated 1-4mm diameter hail size, which correlates nicely to the hail in your hand at the 20:26 mark of your video.

I live in southern Utah and we have the same reaction when we get a little bit of snow, but sometimes we get enough to make a snowman. I find it so funny to watch the snow plow plowing almost no snow LOL and our small cities we live in in southern Utah there are no snow plows so when it snows a lot, well drivers beware.

You guys are awesome. My daughter's first experience with snow when she and I got snowed in on the Grapevine February 2019 while trying to come home from one of our Disneyland trips. It was grainy and icy then too.

I remember when it snowed in Malibu canyon where I lived growing up ,when I was also in high school. And my husband remembered it snowing at Agoura high school. I bet it was the same snow storm you remember Spencer. I also remember seeing the naked pink lady every time we went through that tunnel. Fond memories.

When I lived in Agoura we had snow a few times on the canyons, Malibu and Kanan! once had accumulation in our yard for a few hours, the kids loved it! SO fun!
