The first of the Legendary Pokemon Bytes is a faceoff against the strongest Pokemon ever created!
Pokemon Musical Bytes is a collection of songs from the Pokemon series which aren't quite a full musical, but are still themed around the games themselves! We redid this video because UA-cam pat themselves on the back by having a robot say it's for kids.

This is a great example of beating something not with force but with strategy; "something" being UA-cam marking the original video as "made for kids", force being the attempts to tell UA-cam that *not everything that has Pokemon in it is nesseserily for kids* and strategy being this video right here.

Yeah, the harmonizing really improves the song. Not only does it add to the music, but it also makes Mewtwo sound more imposing, and like he’s speaking directly to your mind.

Am I crazy or did they add harmony to Mewtwo's lines? I don't remember it being in Vs. Mewtwo 1. Whether I'm just unobservant or it was an added element, it was a great touch! Also, the edits are absolutely god tier and I loved them.
The parts where both sing shows that Mewtwo and Red aren't that different, just Mewtwo as a Pokémon and Red as a Trainer.
And that is what makes this kind of a boring argument between two similar minds

I'm leaving a comment on this video since I can't on the original. There's just so much stuff I love about this song. The accuracy of Mewtwo's voice, the awesomeness of Steel's red voice, the fitting lyrics and 3:19 this part hits harder than Mewtwo's psychic attack.

Did something happen with the audio? I swear the original version did not have this slight auto-tuned voice for Mewtwo. Gives it more of the impression he is speaking telepathically I assume; but it caught me off guard. I have listened to the original version that I know got UA-cam Censored - and I swear this is an addition.

(3:51) Instead of contorting the word epitome like that, I think it would have been better to replace the line “I am the epitome” with “(I’m the paragon,) the apotheosis.” It would flow perfectly as opposed to the somewhat awkward stretching of epitome’s pronunciation and apotheosis is a cool word.

Still believe this has the same problems as the original version. The motives and drive behind Mewtwo's lyrics were done better by the first film of the franchise and Ash was a better opponent for its ideals. In this variance, Red sounds like an emotionless hunter of Pokemon, only trying to catch Mewtwo to fill out a Pokedex slot. It makes them eerily similar to the point that Mewtwo does reconcile, it doesn't seem like Red did a damn thing to change its mind. The interchanging clips from Let's Go, the anime and featuring Melmetal in the art makes it non sequential also, the Psychic type just being assaulted by endless different Pokemon.

If anyone is wondering why this was ever created, it's probably because the original one was determined by youtube as "content for children" and thus you can't make a comment, along with other limitations, so they changed it a bit (I think that the most important thing is mewtwo smoking)
