    Kawhi can’t seem to catch a break. He was playing good for the first two games of this series and now is dealing with injuries again. I just feel he can play at a high level every game but the heavy minutes is taking a toll on him.

      He played 38 minutes last game and 41 minutes the game before kind of hard for a guy that didn’t play back to backs and had minute restrictions during the regular season I blame the coaching staff for not playing him enough in the regular season

    2019~2023 4 reg seasons, AD played 194 games, Kawhi 161 games, Zion 114 games, yet the media label AD as THE most injury prone player. When talk about Kawhi or Zion, their availability was never brought up as a major issue. 🤷‍♀

    Really sucks because Kawhi career could be totally different if he didn’t have the nagging injuries. When Kawhi was in Toronto that was literally one of the greatest 1 year deals I’ve seen. I love Kawhi but I truly believe the PG and Kawhi experience is done. Neither can stay healthy. They had a great run and let’s be real if Kawhi didn’t tear his ACL they could’ve been in the finals but it didn’t happen. If I’m the clippers you look to just move on. I think Kawhi do a 1 year deal with Lebron and just get 1 last chip and then both call it quits

    I do think the Zaza play did mess with Kawhi in a way that has led to a continued injury history. Kawhi is the load management exception. His body just doesn't seem to be able to handle the load other top 75 players are expected to handle.

    In Toronto, the medical staff were world class. Like the best in the league. They prolonged Kawhi's career that entire year. Alex McKechnie is one of the physios he worked with regularly

Imagine snagging an extra 5-6 rebounds and an extra 5-6 assists over your opposing number. That's 15-16 extra points over the opposite teams star guard. That is why they are still close. On paper the Suns have Booker and KD, the best non injured duo after Lebron and AD. Add CP3 And Ayton, they are the best top 4 players. There is no team in the league who's 4th best player is as good as Ayton.

    It's almost like if he actually played basketball his body would be used to the wear and tear and he wouldn't get injured every time he touches the court. Like you cant expect your body to be ready for any professional sport (let alone the highest competitive level such as the playoffs) if you refuse to play enough of the sport to get it ready to play at the highest level for a continued stretch. Like does anyone wonder why players get injured more now even though they train harder faster longer etc, because nothing replaces actually playing the game. Kawhis body is a broken shell of what it used to be when he (more regularly) played the regular season.

    Lue forgot that Kawhi is super injury prone and can't handle playing over 40 minutes a game. Lue used to play LeBron 44- 48 minutes a game in Cleveland and mainly rest him during time outs. Kawhi is too injury prone to do that.

    It was the second time the suns got lucky againt the clippers. Remember the 2021 west finals between tha clippers and suns kawhi was out also with acl injury. And now both pg13 and kawhi was out. How lucky the suns are

    I partly blame the schedule! Clippers/Suns series is only series where every game is every other day. All the other series have at least 2 days in between at least once!

    Some of the analysis is spot on . Does my head in when people act like and say Kawhi is just load managing cuz he doesn’t wanna play . He has some genuine problems and injuries that he needs to manage during the season and it’s just sad that it’s this way but people need to understand why he does it by now . His career could’ve been even greater without the injuries

      Yes but KD has been active during the playoffs way more than Kawhi. His biggest injury recently was the Achilles. Where he missed the 2021 season. Kawhi has missed 2021 and 2022. And he is out again.,
