      Lakers are 100 times better then grizzlies, the nba had to step in & make game 2 Memphis win. When did kawhi get hurt

    • @Pizvo
      @Pizvo Рік тому +8

      They did beat them when Kawhi was playing in game 2 and i don't think PG can play better than Westbrook has the past two games (who would have to take a smaller role on the ball with PG playing). Role players play better at home and Clippers have 3 of the best bench two-way plug-in players in the league. The Suns have a specialist bench, with clear scorers and clear defenders so they lose the bench minutes against a full two-way team.
      Clippers with Kawhi are contenders, they are the worst matchup for the Suns and Suns played exactly 8 games with KD in the regular season, with him being injured for a while - it's not surprising they struggle. They didn't even have time to rehearse sets with him. Ty knows this so the Clippers blitz KD to take him out of the game and force turnovers. If the Suns' shot is not falling, that's a winning strategy, one that not a lot of teams can offer.
      What the Suns did to offset that is a) Book is a bucket and letting him beat you is a bad idea because he's also pretty good at playmaking, so he is instructed to run very aggressively at defenders to prevent traps and exploit defensive movements b) when it was clear that it was going to be one of those poor shooting nights, they started attacking the rim more and initiating contact against a very physical Clippers defense (which is something they don't usually do). It payed off. And the fact that they did take the 2-1 lead just proves that when KD figures out his team a bit more and against a team that doesn't have defenders that can bother him as much, they'll look a lot better.
      Don't underestimate well constructed NBA playoff teams. Grizzlies beat the Lakers without JA and Adams. Bucks beat the Heat without Giannis. Those are still NBA players. That being said, i doubt the Suns can win it all this season but they are far more dangerous than this series would make you believe.

    To act like anyone expected MVP/one man playoff OKC ensurance Russel Westbrook was going to show up in playoff games after 4 years of him being a vet, an energy guy, a one trick pony on offense; is insane. This shouldnt be posible and it's happening, i felt like i was watching one of those games from all the way back when Russ was the entire game plan, and willed teams to the playoffs on his own. I don't know what the Clippers or Ty are giving him, but as a fan of his, im loving this timetravel/turning back the clock arc his is having IN THE PLAYOFFS.

    This team can’t face the Nuggets like this. They just can’t. They will die out there in that altitude playing over 42-43 minutes a night. They can’t stop teams from attacking the rim. They have no big apart from Ayton and they have no 6th man to have a small ball lineup either so when Ayton has 4 fouls at any point, the team is in shambles because they can’t do anything when teams attack the paint and Jokic will have a feast there. And they can’t guard the 3 either and with doubling Jokic, the amount of shots created for the Nuggets will be perfect for an offense like that. MPJ should have a field day on offense with his corner 3s. Jamal is too tall for CP to guard him and you can’t have Booker guard Jamal while depending on him to average 30-35 a night while leading the playoffs in minutes played. Especially not while they’re in Denver.

    This can be hard for mix bench units, who havent played long together and need a bit of confidence to get going . if the Suns bench hit their first coupla shots then this whole theory falls apart and you can rest the starters
