Legit if infinite world kept the beam struggles, the power struggles and maybe dragon rush. It would have been the perfect budokai game. I still think infinite world was the better game compared to budokai 3 because of the faster fighting mechanics, easier capsule editing. But the fatigue mechanic was just too broken in my opinion.
Instead, I liked they removed struggles and DR, because I find button mashing/guessing to not have place in a proper fighting game. IW fatigue system is too easily exploitable, but I think it can fixed with some capsules.
@@Dr._Doppietta IW is awesome. The only thing that I don't like is that fatigue system. In Budokai 3 you had to be focused on how many ki is left. But in IW you get fatigue so many times and the worst part is that you lose transformations
I assume they got the burst mechanic from shin budokai 2 on the psp and the rest from budokai 3 except the ui for infinite world i do hear infinite world was supposed to be budokai 4 but something happened i forgot what it was prefer budokai 3 simply being the beam struggles they were rare but once they happned it was intense and my cousins and i emulate it with a computer and its still as fun as it was back then

Depends by what you're looking for in a DBZ fighting game. B3 has more minigames, while IW is more focused on fighting. B3 movepools are better, but IW gameplay is faster and smoother. I suggest you to watch different videos where I make the comparison, so you can see it for yourself. :)
Different gameplay mechanics and new characters/costumes. Which one is better depends by what you're looking for in a fighting game: IW is easier to get into but more unbalanced and easily exploitable, while B3 is "stiffer" but more balanced.

Glad I’m not the only super fan of Budokai 3 that never heard of Infinite world. In my opinion budokai 3 is the 🐐 of dbz games . I lost interest once it transitioned to 3D although I did have a lot of fun with tenkaichi 2 (ps2 ) and 3 (wii) . Def gonna get my hands on infinite world as soon as I can

The best game is Shin Budokai 2 which is an evolution of infinite world. -no cutscenes. They're cool but become repetitive -fast paced matches -no dragon rush BS from Budokai 3. I even prefer it to Tenkaichi 3 (playable characters excluded)

FighterZ plays like a traditional 2D competitive fighter, it has great fighting mechanics and if you watch any character or combo breakdown you can see just how in depth the developers of the game went when creating the fighting system. I personally prefer the Budokai and Tenkaichi series to FighterZ which are both amazing but FighterZ is certainly the most polished game in the dragonball franchise and has pretty much no exploitable strategy or combos like the older games do. But we can't really compare Budokai to FighterZ considering Budokai was built for casual play and FighterZ was built for competitive play. Both serve their purposes excellently. Both are great games. Maybe try give it a revisit sometime?

The graphics, the interactions, the cutscenes in the fights. All good. But the gameplay is boring for me and I can't get warm with a pausing street fighter gameplay. Besides that.. the Story Mode is worse than Budokai 2's. Besides the cutscenes of course. Infinite World needs a remaster. They did it with Budokai 1 and 3, now they should do infinite world... And Budokai tenkaichi 2 and 3. aaaand give me raging blast back.. Wishful thinking.. The tenkaichi series died with ultimate failure-chi and will probably never ever coming back now that the budokai series evolved into kinda lil something tenkaichi with dimps making xenoverses and the tenkaichi developers shutted down in fusion what gave us failure-chi.

Faz anos q não jogo os dois jogos, porém, pelo q lembro, o dois são ótimos, em questão de ponto negativo (na minha opinião): No infinit world, os adversários no modo história apelam ao extremo, msm numa dificuldade bem fácil, outro problema tbm, é como você libera os personagens, e seus especiais (que são separados), tem q gastar um bom tempo de jogatina. No Budokai 3, eu diria q é só o modo história, não tem cutscenes, oq ok, é uma desvantagem bem irrelevante, mas q ao meu ver, poderia ser melhor, e mais atividades variadas no modo história do jogo tbm seria uma boa. Os dois são ótimos jogos, gosto mais de como é o modo história no infinit world, porém, no Budokai 3 é muito mais fácil liberar os personagens, suas transformações e especiais.

I've been playing Infinite world on my pc and it seems off compared to Budokai 3 like the colors are bland it feels like a cheap knock off
It has the same assets actually, so it's prob an emulation's problem.
