    Thank you! We are doing a bit more hiking and travelling to colder climates so this has been helpful

      Yeah, before we moved here I thought I needed hiking pants, boots, etc. But...it just depends on the season you're planning to hike. Where are you heading? Sounds fun!

      Yes! My brother and I got a permit for the end of August. We are making plans. This will be my first week-long trip.

      Oh fun, you'll be back-country camping then? Which areas? Hopefully we don't have bad wildfires this year. If so, you may have to adjust your route accordingly, but there's always plenty to explore.

    Great list, I'm terrified I will be so unprepared when I go! Any suggestions on hiking shoes?

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  6 років тому

      James Wilson anything with good tread will do. It depends on your foot width as well. Keens run wider, Merrill a little less. If you can try some on in a store you will most likely feel an immediate difference and have a personal favorite. Good luck. When do you come this way?

      keen are the best. invest once n u will not regret

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  6 років тому

      I personally love Keen. But..I have wider feet so they fit perfectly :) Not sure if someone with a narrow foot would love them as well....

      @@RadiantRealty same here. i guess they should have versions for narrow feets too.

    How cold does it get in June?

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  3 роки тому

    I have been searching all over, do you need bear canisters for your food o the popular shorter hikes?

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  6 років тому

      Amber Davis are you camping? When we hike we just take food in our packs. We don’t use canisters. But...be sure you pack out anything you take in. Don’t leave any crumbs or trash.
