Obviously this transition is super chaotic, so I didn't get to document every moment, but these are the few snippets I decided to share with you. i can not explain to you why i cried watching this video but i did! i've been watching your videos for years Michelle and seeing you finally go and move to New York was just so crazy! seeing you grow up and start life as an adult makes me realize that around this time next year i will be doing the same thing: on my own in a different place for the first time! welcome to NYC! just wanted to let you know that if you're looking for any cool filming locations and/or somewhere to eat i would highly recommend DUMBO, brooklyn & the long island city piers!
I know this vlog has been posted a while ago, i started watching your videos since you were already in College, now looking back to this video i totally feel you; i'm starting college in around a week and i feel less alone now, it's nice seeing you growing up and getting confidence through a big crazy city. I think it would be cool if you did a video on the struggles you had the first few weeks. I'm a sophomore in college but my freshman year I only moved two hours from home. Regardless, the beginning was still such an adjustment, and obviously moving from Texas to New York would be a crazy change. Love you and I'm very excited for you 😊

How did know it was the right choice to move across the country. I'm debating whether or not to apply to a college on the West Coast(I live on the east coast) Especially because i get homesick but I want to start something new and exciting.
I'm from the east coast and I'm moving to the UK for college. I don't really get homesick easily so that wasn't too big an issue. College will be new and exciting no matter how far you go. I think it's important to make sure you really like the school you're going to. It needs to be worth the distance.
You should definitely apply! Apply to schools closer to home too, though. If you think that you'll be okay away from your family and only going home a few times a year and it feels right, the west coast would be great! However, you could also get something new and exciting somewhere closer to home, somewhere that's only a couple of hours away!

I live on EC and I plan on applying to colleges in several different states all over the country! If you have a specific school you really want to attend I'd consider applying but if you just want to move for the sake of getting away from your hometown without a realistic college you love id consider staying close to home❤sorry if this is vague or doesn't help lol I tried
