A navigation gear tasting (or podcast) would be great. Also, more in depth reviews on the different types of hammocks and perhaps hammocks compared to tents. Eno vs. Fox, Big Box camping store vs more high end, etc... Keep it up! Loving the gear tasting radio!
Must admit, I've never started cutting straps from my pack. lol Nice shout out to the Boy Scouts too. In fact, the last time I reviewed "manual" navigation was in Scouts. A navigation show would be something I'd look forward to. Great show guys!
Do the Lowa boots hold up well in mud? Where I live(Northwest MS), it is wet most of the hunting season, so I am going through ankle deep mud most of the time. What is your recommendation for a hiking or combat style boot for mud?
Not sure about another website (besides ITStactical.com) but I use the Podcast Republic app on my phone for all of my podcasts, including this one. May be an option.
The R value on sleeping bags in tested for life safety by a 3rd party. That is not required on sleeping pads because its a comfort item. Think of body armor being nij tested vs like ar500 steel that can stop bullets but doesnt have an official nij cert.

Thanks, I'll have to download the app. That was where I was getting at, doesn't look good watching UA-cam at work.
Whats your opinion on the military modular sleep system or other systems that can be scaled up or down depending on the temperature?

Batteries go away as you're camping? You just toss them into the woods I guess? #packinpackout
