Yeah, and that little old guy, I've always liked how he talked. He's well known from Nat. Lam. Christmas Vacation as the old Uncle, but maybe not quite as well known as a middle aged role he had waaay back in 1959 Twilight Zone episode as a boxing manager in the episode "The big tall wish", still had that distinctive voice

Anyone else notice how his words don't match what he says visually when he says fongule? A friend told me once that Steve Martin actually said something more vulgar with an f word...

They haven't blocked out his other f words, such as his response to the worker at the store, saying "Have a nice day", Steve responding with "f*** you!" right as "boy from New York city" was playing, displaying his very New York response to midwestern politeness, which is of course exaggerated here to where workers are so hung up on cheerfully saying "have a nice day" that they'll say it to customers mid-store every single chance they get. And one earlier said it to Steve as he was ENTERING the store, lol. And then the cashier's excited response to the $100 bill, like he never saw one up close before. It's all exaggerated in this movie for comic effect of course. Except, funny enough, I've heard that Steve's "f*** you!" statement is not an uncommon thing said in New York

Yeah, and that old guy, I like the way he talks. He's also the old uncle from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. But less well known to people today, he was a boxing manager in a 1959 Twilight Zone episode of a boxer who slipped into an alternate dimension where he won the fight before coming back into his reality where he lost it, he was middle aged back then but still had that same distinct way of talking
