that was beautiful - also very good considering this is on of my fav musicals- good to know some people can play it well (-:
" The earth has Music for those whose listen" William Shakespeare - Get it Earth ??? you know cos the phantom is underground and there are lots of different highs and lows in it?? (-:
+Jacqueline Fletty Thanks :) I also love Phantom. First show I ever saw on Broadway :) Oh, and you really know your Shakespeare ;)
Damn I know all of shakesprear of by Heart - I may not be good at spelling but I can read (Love reading) - and I could probs recite heaps of musicals but Last year I fell in love with phantom - so yeah (-: The Trumpet Man
Man that was buetiful I have a music Suggestion the sound of music love the music keep up the good work
Thank you!!!! I did do "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" from "The Sound of Music" here: ua-cam.com/video/qj4jtBXqrDU/v-deo.html
do you prefer playing on a Bb or a C trumpet? I'm running into more skilled players that would rather have a C instrument that Bb for the classic tone
I prefer playing on a Bb trumpet. I haven't had a ton of experience on a C trumpet though, so that's part of the reason I prefer Bb. I like the sound a tad more as well on Bb.
Is there any way you could possibly give the sheet music for this? I would love to learn it!
+Bazigler_75 I learned this song by ear, so I don't have any sheet music. If it helps at all, though, the opening key is E major and then there's a key change to F major.
Thank you!
Wishing you were somehow here again - The Phantom of the opera?
ua-cam.com/video/h_pF6qzOInY/v-deo.html ;)
Very nice indeed.
Quick question, what key did you tune to?
An online one says that Im tuned to F, but it sounds a bit off from what you have
Thanks! In terms of the trumpet key, this one starts off in E major at the beginning and then goes to F major.
How long have you been practicing??? Is there a special tool for for making it sound so Smooth???
I've been playing for about 19 years now :) I wouldn't say there's a special tool for making it sound smooth other than practice, but using tools like a microphone and an audio program can help make it sound better :) In this video I also used something called "reverb", which makes it sound like I'm playing in an auditorium.
@@thetrumpetman oh ok thank you.
How do u remember the notes
+Gravity Falls and Wwe Repetition I guess. I also have a lot of experience in ear training and parts of the scale, how they relate to each other, etc., so it makes it easier for me to remember what notes are next.
where did you get the sheet music from? or did you memorize it?
I learned it by ear. Both ears, haha
haha
Please do Masquerade
+Anastasia Mucha Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not planning on it at this point, but I'm always open to trying something in the future!
your welcome and ok thanks for the response
Is that the Fox Theater?
Jacob Davis It's actually the Orpheum Theater in Omaha.
