Will this work on a bubble style canopy?

I think this will work well for HUDs and tpods but unless its a camera trick the effect seems a bit too pronounced at scale?

I realize I'm a little late to the party here, but just saw this and love the idea. Do you know if printable holographic sticker paper would work the same way? I somewhat looks like what you were using. Thanks for making all of us better modelers.
Hasegawa was selling this for years, but finding a better source is nice.
I have found Holographic Rainbow Wrapping Paper at my local Hobby Lobby, however; I have not found a Glue for it. Any suggestions???
That would be a great touch on Tamiya's new 1/48 Lockheed F-35 model -- specifically the angular sapphire glass that covers sensor equipment right below the nose.

The H-60 Black hawks have the holographic windscreens on both sides, but not in the small center windscreen.
Sweet Merciful Mother please don't dip it lol... Instead how about putting the foil on the inside and polishing the outside with Tamiya compound? If you're placing it on the inside you have a bit more room because the frames will cover a lot. Thanks for this Bobby! I was looking for a way to have this effect, however can you make a tutorial on how to do this on normal airplane canopies with the curves and stuff?
Ah. See this is the rub....curved and domed surfaces. Not many modern military fixed wing aircraft have a convenient flat surface. Challenge: Do the same thing for an EA-6B!
🤔- I was standing next to two Apaches not more than a day ago, and neither had this look to their windows. I just looked at the pictures and videos I have of them to be sure. One was a block 2 longbow, and the other was not. Is this film coating only on the export AH-64s'?
It's only an effect that happens in certain light conditions, I believe largely because of the thickness of the Perspex as it is bullet proof. There's not actually any coating apart from the standard anti-glare
Meh. Flat surfaces, sure...now try that on an EA-6B canopy. I've looking for ways to duplicate the HaveGlass or the EA-6B canopy...
It look s Nice but Apaches do not have that holograpic type of glass. Except te window between je pilot ande tge gunner

Hi Scott, that could be possible offcourse. The Netherlands Apache don't have that glow but perhaps some other countries do. Many regards from the Netherlands😉
