- Batman: Arkham Knight is an action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, a direct sequel to Batman: Arkham City (2011) and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set nine months after the events of Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City and caused a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious Arkham Knight, plots to unite all of Gotham's criminals in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.

I've hit over 400x numerous times, easiest way to do it is in the Pyg mission, because the enemies don't have any shields or sticks. You can farm so many points on that mission, and can probably hit over 1000k

I was having a 500x combo and in the last sec one of the medic shoot one of those electric charge to the thugs and ruin my combo, I stop playing the game since then

As someone who's 100% all 3 of the Arkham games, the impressiveness of this isn't just the number, it's the efficacy. It is VERY difficult to rotate through all of those means of disabling the various soldiers while also being that deadly AND avoiding the read attacks. Super amazing job!

Yes it is specially when the big dude with the shields and lightning comes up then you get the medics reviving and then sometimes that dude all the way in the corner running at you to tackle what an asshole😭😂😭😂💯💯💯
its really not that hard you just have to practice eventually you put yourself in auto pilot and automatically do it like its nothing.

I genuinely think the Arkham game's combat system is one of the most rewarding. The way it ends up looking like fight choreography that must have taken forever to animate. There's a fluidity and rhythm to it that makes it easy to see why other action games fighting mechanics borrow so heavily from it.
I'm not a huge gamer, but for my money, the combat system in Knight is the best by a massive, massive margin. It's so smooth and intuitive, and for me, it makes going back to the previous games more difficult (and not in a good way), because the fighting isn't as refined. I still love Origins, Asylum, and City, don't get me wrong, but Knight, in terms of the fight mechanics if not storytelling, is damn near flawless.

Recently 100% Asylum-Knight and started my 100% Origins but the lack of fluidity and jank is horrible.
You are actually missing an even bigger ingredient: it's extremely friendly to older/less deft players. Jumping over opponents allows for a much slower--and vastly less exciting fight than this gentleman performed--experience. But it becomes possible to think about what you want to do next. Frankly this is better than anything in any game I've seen. You can do marvelous things like this if you're young/coordinated enough while doing extremely well even if you're much older/slower.
Tbf asylum and origins require more tact and less spamming attacks
You barely even notice the same moves being done twice. Shit is fluid and natural
I've lost my combo that way many times. Countering a thug who for some reason cancels his attack as you initiate a beatdown or right after. I hate that.
A good rule of thumb is if you use the key super effective move for a special enemy (aerial attacks for shields, beatdown for brutes, batclaw for electric-charged thugs, etc.) then you'll be granted pseudo invincibility as any thug attacking you will cancel whatever they're doing

@@loganbreau882 yeah it was i was like 11 years old but i still managed to do it eventually. Getting to the third phase was so rarely done for me but my heart always pumped really hard when i did.
Kicked so much ass that the game started giving the enemies weapons in a challenge map where they’re supposed to be unarmed.
Then it give them sheilds, guns, called professional assassins and big guys... With shield too
Man the Arkham Batman combat is so satisfying, truly one of if not the best combat systems in all of gaming. It's even more incredible to watch someone else who has mastered it. Good stuff!

Gotham Knights had the bones to be something good but the story was trash, especially the ending. Clayface was badass in it though.
You do know that these games are completely seperate timelines since that they were created by different studios, right?
Not only did the game give up, but it also was kind enough to keep Batman from breaking his "no killing" rule by building invisible walls every time he throws somebody off the roof. If only this was Batman Returns, he could have strapped a bomb to them before throwing them over.
Absolutely love arkham knight. The combat, the animations, the visuals, the soundtrack. It's all amazing. This was probably the most interesting 4 minutes I've spent so far, good job dude.

These are Arkham games so they play like Arkham games, Gotham Knights is acompletely different thing. I for one didn't want to play another Arkham game, so I'm glad Gotham Knights made some changes. Love them or hate them, they're aesthetic and subjective 👑

I recommend using the batarangs a lot more. They count toward your multiplier and is a great setup for the multi ground takedown

God damn dude! That’s fucking awesome! The highest combo I’ve ever done was 205 at the part where you beat down Joker at the end 😂 well, I’ve gotten to x100 during the swarm part but that’s nothing on this. This is truly being the Batman.

I've done this before. It's hard to properly explain how deep a challenge it is to maintain a combo like this.
asking Batman "what're you gonna do?" is crazy... telling Batman "you aren't gonna walk away from this one" whilst he separates another mans legs from his body is even crazier

this is one of the few games where I feel like we actually get the full power of our character.
I kept this going until the game gave me a countdown timer and it ran out, just like this. I did it as Batman, Azrael and Catwoman. 🤘to you man.

Gosh the BvS skin is my favorite and still have it equipped to this day (gosh its been 8 years already?!) its the best live action batsuit we've ever gotten, it looks simple and not too much going on, its the first comic accurate black and gray color scheme, it looks like its very easy and fast to put on, and it looks like there's armor under the mesh. Some have a problem with the bat symbol design on his chest but i like it more than the miller design which its inspired by, i never had a problem with the huge symbol because that leaves for more protection to his chest. short ears i dont have that much of a problem with either. only nitpick i have are the golden claws on his gauntlets but thats so hard to tell. i love the weathered edges of the cape and if you zoom in you can see the slight battle damage and scars the suit had endured throughout the 20 years of his crime fighting career.

There's always something about games with this kind of combat that makes you feel so good when you're in a groove. The Lord of the Rings games feels even better since you get to actually off the enemies lmao.

so i just started playing the game a few days ago (first Arkham game) and holy shit am i in awe
You should start with Asylum. In my opinion, starting with Knight was a detriment for me, because the past games aren't as refined, and I feel like it would have been more reward to get better at the game just as Batman in the game improved himself. It also makes sense to start from a storytelling perspective.
