I had an issue with my needles drifting from the home position on my bc5050. That bolt that was loose, had completely fell off. One very easy thing to do, that I neglected until this week, was to check tensions on both the main drive chain and the feeder chain (the one on the tractor side, not the main feeder chain in the rear near the twine box). My chains had stretched so much that my baler jumper a little bit of time!
The ones you took out look like the original ones judging by the paint so they seem to last a while despite being into the rivets.

I’ve tensioned my chains and they are within spec but this winter putting all new chains on might be one of the projects.
