That show is how I truly got introduced to her and she has captivated me ever since. I enjoy going back and watching her appearances again and again for a good laugh
She's very very lucky to have been in the school she described. The school I went to was about as inspiring as cold oatmeal. I found refuge in poetry and reading. You can find grifting anywhere no matter what the building is named.
Ruth in Cork. I went to mount mercy and am so grateful for the inspirational teachers I had there. They were encouraging, full of praise, and above all acceptance!! Where would I have been without them!
Hello Miriam. Thanks for your memories. I'm about your age and was also rather naughty at my Grammar School for Girls in Yorkshire. One of the best things I did was, one lunchtime, after noticing the key in the staff room door, I locked it. We had an extra long lunch break that day. Of course I had to admit I'd done it - mainly because I wanted the admiration of the other girls!! I really do feel that seeing young women succeed in the sciences and go on to study in Oxford and Cambridge with great regularity was a really excellent thing. It taught me that women could do anything amd in the 50s and 60s that was still an unusual way of thinking.
I love her dearly. Shes funny, witty, heart of gold, hilarious stories, all of the above and more. Yes Graham loves her si much. She is the most popular guest on the Graham Norton Show.
This Ladies talent throughout my life has fascinated me and moved me to fits of laughter (her appearances on talk shows ecr) her talent as an actress is up there with the best this country has ever seen. Plus her voice over performances on adverts have been incredibly brilliant. ❤️
Can u imagine what a world we would have if that were every child’s learning experience? I love Marion but that was the first time I was envious of her. But she’s right…she was born to perform.
I fought long and hard not to go to OHS as it was single sex, and went to the school across the road instead, Cherwell Comprehensive, which was absolutely terrible and I made a huge error there. My mum went to Milham Ford and hated it.
I see her I click. This woman is a treasure and absolutely hilarious
Just love her, so honest nothing hidden, just an inspiration, brilliance, with added humour x
What’s better than a bit of Miriam. Too much is never enough XXX
I really enjoy listening to her.
You must watch her on the Graham Norton show. She is brilliant and funny.

Yeah that’s what the high school don’t want paying parents to google lol

Miriam is the best story teller ever!
She is so well spoken. Profound and classy. No Americans can talk like this.
Her accent is so good. The way she speaks represents her being at Oxford. Hmm
I love her dearly. Shes funny, witty, heart of gold, hilarious stories, all of the above and more. Yes Graham loves her si much. She is the most popular guest on the Graham Norton Show.
Wonderful diction, a lesson to us all!
I wonder if her diction is what allows her to get away with such filth in a lot of her storytelling.
Love Miriam, she’s so forthright and hilarious and exceptionally clever!
She’s not that clever she votes Labour,!!
@@daisybuttercup6801 unnecessary comment speaks volumes about you. Her political affiliations are her own business
@@sineadhennessy9450 she said people who voted Brexit were fools, that gives me the right to make a derogatory remark , as she has the right.
@@daisybuttercup6801 two wrongs don’t make a right. It’s your opinion you’re entitled to it.
@@sineadhennessy9450 she also said people who prefer the Tories to Labour are nuts. Her diction is very good , but her opinions are puerile.
She's absolutely adorable great lady

The students and teachers make school fun and look forward to learning !

“Naughty, not wicked.” The right formula for really learning something
One of those people you want to preserve for a 1000 years.
God how inteligent is she
She is amazing.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Wonderful Woman 🦋
Love this woman.

You didn’t make a mistake - terrible mental health in many girls in the 90s… and little pastoral help
She is great when on Graham Norton
Love Miriam ❤️
National treasure

Why isn’t she a Dame?
Watch her on The Graham Norton Show and you'll see why. She has a filthy mouth and a wonderful sense of humour.
She is a Dame in our hearts!
Because she is a bigoted loud mouth old sow
@@RoPiDe OR she is as elegant as a elephants backside
