Awesome to see old wood like that. I had a bunch of big beams from an old house I helped demo from years ago . Planed them all down and used on different projects. So much fun and so useful
I would say western red cedar. Looks like a squared off telephone pole. Been milling a bunch of them. If it smells like you sharpened a pencil, that’s what it is. Great video.
Looks like a boom stick from when they were floating pulp wood. Lots of them over here on the west coast. I’d say it’s Douglas fir. great video!
