I grew up evangelical Christian and am now Hindu myself. Hinduism is such a wonderful, vibrant, moral, and accepting faith. It wasn't until I became a Hindu that I recognized Jesus for Who he was. I joke with my staunch evangelical parents that we have the same values, just different names for the Divine. Even I'm a Hindu from India. I go to church sometimes. I have bible as well. I got this as a gift from my Christian friend. We celebrate Christmas, Diwali, Holi altogether.

There is absolutely nothing Christian about Christmas though. It's a heathen festival that is based around sun worship, and it's not difficult to prove. The Bible doesn't show anybody celebrating it, and Christ definitely didn't celebrate His own birthday, and He certainly didn't command anybody to observe it. The idea of celebrating birthdays was completely foreign to anyone who practiced Torahism.

I don't understand Americans him being a hindu is a good thing cos Hindus are taught to respect all living things on this planet and religion . They don't force their values on their religion.
