I hooked my KFI plow up to my 6X6 today. Noticed it was a little hard to get the pin in on one side. I suspected something was bending. I didn't look it over that good just cleaned up the little bit of wet snow we had.
Those plows take a lot of punishment, and it’s possible you bent one end of the push tube. However, I always end up shuffling it back and forth to get everything lined up, even if it’s not bent.
We had the push frame bend on the new upgraded push frame. They made us buy a second push frame, that bent too. Both times it was mild use. They do not stand behind their products. KFIs bend all the time.
@@MNsportsman Wow! I thought the new push frame was built a lot better than the old generation, and am surprised to hear that. The plow has been good to us, but I’ll keep a close eye on the frame this season.
Hadn't thought of that. I'll eventually have to address the bent fairlead mount and steel bumper. When I do, I might try it the way you have it. Seems like that might be stronger.
Wow. Exactly what I was looking for. I have a Yamaha viking 700 and am thinking about a KFI . Definitely going to get the newer version pushtube! Thanks!=
Still waiting for the snow in the PNW, enjoyed the video

Good video! I just did a short vid on my plow ...the cable wire through part of my Bison Bar...had to do some grinding!!!
Thank you!
A starting point for the springs is too slide a business card into the spring
Good idea!

My fairlead is flipped the other way around...

New push tube looks a lot stiffer and the added pully should really help!
I hope so!
I love your thoroughness. Good to see your videos. See you on the trail👍🏼
