@ That’s what makes it hilarious. We know he wants to laugh, but he keeps it in to save the guy’s feelings, only to fail the moment he leaves the room. 🤣
It's on Retro TV or Antenna TV I had never watched it. Pretty funny show, but they didn't need to dump Reggie - although Chris was good. And Hugo was a very bad replacement for Bob.
Becker must have really strong willpower to not laugh until he left the room. I would have lost it at the porta potty flying off the truck and died laughing by the end of the story.
I can speak from experience. It can be really hard to keep it together during a funny scene. The key is to think of something very sad, grim, and/or depressing. That helps to reduce your inherent behavior to laugh when doing such a scene.
The one with Jake and the "Seeing eye dog" gives it a run. Had never seen the show. Was in re-tuns playing on tv in the background.... I noticed "Bob" having the idea of the dog. "One Angry Man". The episode where Linda, then Becker report for Jury duty hooked me as a fan. Found this series be as funny as possible. obviously we're both still watching clips.....lol. ua-cam.com/video/8qgOs5yLorQ/v-deo.html
I try to make it through this without laughing. The best I have got was like 10 seconds. How these two actors didn't wet themselves laughing while doing this scene is staggering. I would have loved to have seen the bloopers.
Another one is when Jake has to give back the "Seeing-eye dog" Bob got him... Had never seen "Becker". Caught this well after the series finished. Made me a fan to see just about every episode: ua-cam.com/video/8qgOs5yLorQ/v-deo.html
Becker was once mad that his apartment was infested with roaches - which he disliked. Then comes to his office and Linda and Margaret are crying and hugging with another woman and Becker says "Oh, this is worse than the roaches"
@@CarloTheImmortal Yeah, plus the more you learned about House and all his assistants, the less you cared about them. First season or two of House was good, after that it was down hill. Mean while Becker and all the co stars only got better as it went on.
Without question, the funniest part about this scene is "a broken collar bone" and "your shoulder's healing just fine" juxtaposed to what the guy is actually wearing and how he's moving.
Does anyone know the season and episode that this is because I've been trying to find it for my aunt. I will just send this to her. This was hilarious😂😂😂
Back in the early 90s, a TV newscaster read a last minute bulletin from Israel while his face looked a bit decomposed. Turns out a woman was trying to kill a roach in the bathroom and used a lot of insecticide until she was able to flush it. Then later the husband arrived from work, went to take a dump and lit a cigarette. He ended up badly burning his arse. Then paramedics arrived, put him on a stretcher, and as he was carried down the stairs he told them how the accident happened and they laughed so hard they dropped him down the stairs so he ended up with a few fractures.
~ Becker was one of the _best_ shows ever on TV.
Along with 3rd Rock.
Gotta love how Becker held it in the entire time and then exploded with laughter as soon as he was out of the room. Lmao.
Well, he almost broke, twice, snorting twice in the room in front of the patient.

PUT THIS SHOW BACK ON !!!!

Becker has always been one of my favorite sitcoms.
Got to be one of the funniest stories I've heard ever.

Always felt Dr. House was just Becker with a bigger budget.
What i love is that beckers never put on a pedestal meant to have viewers worship him whereas house is, just couldnt take it seriously lol
