I heard a well known former housewife say Bravo follows this pattern for pay, (if you are not a regular cast member): day rate (y1); paid by episode (y2); and after your first season as a regular, you move up on the pay scale each year. This is apparently the pattern for pay on all Bravo shows. It keeps things fair. it is also possible for certain characters to make more money than others, based on popularity but or bringing in viewers. As an example, on VPR, it was rumored that villians moved up on the payscale faster than others. When Stassi quit a couple of times, she was moved up only for full seasons. There are also considerations for "stars," like LVP on VPR. She was already a regular elsewhere, RHOBH. She would command a greater payday.
