Extremely weird piece of Trivia: Liam is wearing a Decemberists t-shirt, and the Decemberists worked in collaboration with some designers and illustrators to make a vaguely tarot-like card game (that's actually quite fun) called Illimat. The game designer they worked with is Keith Baker, who is better known to DnD nerds as the creator of the Eberron setting, the warforged (on which the aeormatons are based), as well as one of the main designers of the artificer class, the Kalashtar race (which I think Imogen might be a reflavoring of), and a number of other amazements and delights. Just a little 6d6 degrees of Keith Baker.
The Ashley reaction cam is my favorite!! Wish we saw it during Ashton’s and Laudna’s talk because I remember her getting emotional during their conversation.😂❤
I love the idea that Fearne heard none of the Butcher's Bib conversation, and just hopped in as soon as she heard Imogen say "I don't wanna be a bloody butcher" with 0 context.
Thank you for including the go pro shot, i didnt really know where to find that when i saw him doing it on the live stream. Thanks for all the work you put in to these!
9:19 I have some experience, as a player, with a similar situation. It was the end of a major story arc in a multi-DM campaign that saw about 40 or so people fight a pitched battle against some sea hags. It took 2 DMs, 8-ish hours, stopwatches, and LOTS of prep work on everyone's part, but we made it happen. But that really would only work as a final battle-esque scenario.
Just the love they have for each other, and their friendship, makes me so happy. It’s comforting when you’re feeling down. And be *you’re* I mean me haha
Travis is my favorite, mainly because of his facial expressions and whispering or even when he cracks a case. The way he broke character during their airship incident.

see the thing is even though Ashton on the surface said the stupidest thing to the worst person about loneliness -- he's still not wrong, while Laudna does know loneliness deeply and profoundly. That betrayal and apathy from people who he grew up with and would've killed or died for?? That specific loneliness I don't think anyone in this group know at all.
They really need someone like Grog and Scanlan in the upcoming fight. There's not enough straight up brick walls who can just take the damage and power through, and I think we all remember how Sam used warcaster lore bard to its max potential in the late stages of C1 (especially his genius moves in the final fight with the BBEG)
So depending on how everything goes in episode 50 and beyond, I think they need to find a bar somewhere and hear singing. As they enter the sound of strings and vocals hits them. And seeing as a goldfish would have 1HP, the creature would take a significate amount of damage falling from that height. Is anyone else anxious that it seems this campaign is moving too fast, it makes me think there's gonna be a twist villain or something that happens during the solstice that makes an even greater threat than Predathos or whatever. It seems too big of an event to be a halfway mark to the campaign. Countdowns increase my anxiety and superstitions like ten fold.
The Chroma Conclave attack in C1 happened even sooner (episode 39), and was also a major (in terms of the previous scale of that campaign) catastrophe with enemies the party was explicitly underleveled for. ("19 misses!") That led to multiple arcs of gathering resources and allies to be able to handle the issue - although a lot of damage and destruction was entacted by the Big Bads before they could. Technically the ultimate BBEG of Campaign 1 was also introduced even sooner than that, although we didn't really know the stakes at the time or to what extent they would continue/return to be a problem. Again, this led to a sense of a ticking clock, bad things having already happened and worse on the way if the party didn't stop them.
